Before I start, I would like to say sorry about the other CJ. My Simcity kept on having CTD.

Now, to begin.

Atkinson, located in the Western part of Simnation, shown below, is known as a very small farming town along Bradford Highway.

Atkinson's history isn't long. The town was founded by Defacto in the late 50's as there was a good amount of natural recources. In that time land was cheap so a few people who h

ad passed by the place decided to move in ,and as jobs were springing up, living there wasn't exactly hard.

The town was in the direct route of a major highway going almost all over the region. As you can see here, the trucks are leaving the area of the town going to the woodland area which was protected by highway walls to prevent any form of contamination.

The town, like I said was in the direct path of a highway so, the only thing that the townsfolk had to do was to build an exit going to the town and here it is.

Now, the town was not yet ready to go, you see, there was no power. So, the mayor decided to lay a fund for the most environmentally friendly power source which was the wind plant. And here, you can see the power lines going fro the power source.

After that, the people now have decided to move in along with providing jobs for themselves with the natural resources and apply farming techniques.

With safety becoming an issue, the mayor put up plans to build two fire stationsto reduce the risks of fires.

And here we have a picture of the entire town being prepared for future developments.

I love the region, looks like fun when it comes to building ports.

Beware of the blocky design when doing towns though.

Atkinson: Update 1

Since, the city started, many people have already moved in. Industry and business in the town grew rapidly. Since then more and more people came and came. With that, the mayor now decided to move in as well.

You may be wondering "Why isn't the mayor living in his town?"

The answer to this question is simple. You see, when you start a town, you don't move in with your people easily. In this case, the mayor needed to get closer to his people to understand what their needs and wants.

Upon moving in, the people of Atkinson felt more fulfilled in some weird way. The mayor on the other hand was focused on making life easier. When he looked around the town, he noticed that the traffic in the industrial area was bad. He took some men with him and decided to only have one street connected to the avenue which forced everybody to take the long way around.

Soon after, he put up a toll booth which also was a police stop to prevent anything dangerous.

After this, he lowered the maximum space allowed for farming which allowed for more farms.

   

As sudden as the last farm was finished being built, the demand for houses and business establishments, even the industrial demand grew.

The following pictures will show the towns growth.

After all of these, the mayor was happy. But, his happiness suddenly got lost when he found out that the city needed more power than the wind plants could provide. So, he took them away and replaced it with a really high capacity and cheap one.

And, like always a current picture of the town proper.

Thanks, anyway... this town wasn't supposed to be like this. It was because I wanted to get the two mods for God mode.

Atkinson: Update 2

This update is only a minor one.

You see, the towns rapid growth was inevitable. Many people thought that there would not be much to support themselves. Taking that into consideration, the mayor decided to increase the capacity of public utilities and provide them with new areas to move in.

Here are the pictures of said events.

This is a picture of a new library to support the place even if the town turns into a city. As usual, it is situated in the heart of the city to serve its people better

The next pictures are on the upgrade of the fire department and the building of the local hospital.

The rest of the images that I am going to show involve the rapid development in the town.

Twenty20: Thanks. As far as the realism, I try really hard to maintain that that's why I didn't have much custom content in my previous CJ.

vampregirl: hehe... sorry to burst your bubble but the "no-suburbs-thus-far-plan" won't be continued through out the

town... It's because the city is out of space already and expect to see a new train line and some more development.
