Craig: Thanks, that means much coming from you...about the avenues, i was just trying to recreate Disney's avenue-highway system in Orlando. But I'll try to reduce the avenues. 4.gif

Spore415: Thanks you! And sorry about that...y'all can call me Peter! (Hence the Petr- in Petrova lol...but ssshhh the Petrovar Royal Family doesnt know that their name is from their ambassador 2.gif

claymore1: Thank you, but you guys are going to see more in January when the International Village is completed!

Update: ITS MY BIRTHDAY...HERE'S MY TREAT!!!!

    Just a small speech...

Thanks guys for your comments and all, I really appreciate it. Sophomore year for me is really critical, and I really need to get good grades on my exams. So, what does that mean? Well, for the time being, I will pause Project Brytyavska. But don't worry, I will still be posting updates. Instead of them being about the developments around the new city, I will give you a one last tour of the old Chihiro before I permanently delete it New Years Day. I will also post updates on the suburbs and the outskirts of the Capital Belt(Metro Chihiro). Besides, you guys are probably sick and tired of the International Village and Project Brytyavska hehe.

    Thanks for understanding,

    Peter

Update: The Asian Village at the International Village

    Asia.jpg

Milestone 1 of the asian village has been done. As of now, it is still not finished, but here is the progress: (And dont forget to suggest any buildings!)

Here are some shots of the village:

Update: The Mall of Petrova at the International Village

    MallofPetrova.jpg

The Mall of Petrova will be the largest mall in Eastern Europe. Only the eastern part is done, and as you can see below, it is the canal plaza from pegasus(so thanks pegasus, just the right time!) When finished, this mall will be very much alike to the Dubai Mall. In fact, Project Brytyavska is often compared to whats going on in Dubai right now. The Mall of Petrova will have 1,000 shops, 70 restaurants, 7 cinemas, 10 plazas and more!

    Mall.jpg

Here is a small list of some of the stores in the mall. This is only about 1/5 of the total stores.

    Update: The Diplomat

Here's today's newspaper. Oh today, it is Independence Day in Petrova!

    Update: More Fireworks Show Tests

Here are some more leaked pictures of the fireworks rehearsals. And if you guessed the Eiffel Tower, you were right!!

Ok, so this is isn't really an update, but more of a update of my skills lol. This is my first attempt at doing a mosaic.

    Complexmosaic1.jpgComplexmosaic2.jpgComplexmosaic3.jpg

The next real update will probably be tomorrow. It will be the suburbs of San Prado, Grevershki, the Petrova Simlympic Park, the Ambassador's Village, and more. There might be an update of the Int'l Village, if I ever finish my homework lol.

Great job! Nice Stadiums and I love that globe!

On your city - I'd really suggest making a skyscraper/midrise commercial  district, and making some residential. Expand the city so it doesnt contain only monuments 4.gif

Alabaster: Thanks, and you can book a trip anytime, the CIV is now free to everyone! Chihiro will open sometime this month to the world as it is still closed and under construction!

Ava Defil3d: Thank you and welcome to Simtropolis! 4.gif

    Update: Help?!?!?!

So like I said, I will be posting the suburbs. But I need help. I downloaded SAM. When I got to the game, it had a red tile. I found a help thread saying I need to redownload the new NAM. I have a few questions...

    1. How do I reinstall the new NAM? A thread said that I need to remove the previous NAM from my plugins, but there's an NAM uninstall app. Which one do I use?

    2. I am soo scared that SC will crash, what do I do to prevent it from CTD? I read that I have to remove NAM stuff from my city. Do I really have to do that??? Cuz I used NAM for just about every inch of my city.

Suggestions, questions, critiques are welcome!! PLEASE!!! PETROVA NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!

i loved that mosaic, great improvment on your skills must say 4.gif also, i will try and help. im a little limited being as im on a cell phone atm but ill give some tips. Ive always just hand deleted nam folders to reinstall. make sure you back it up first though in case you mess up or cant find a plug in again for a bridge or something. then register @ lex over @ sc4devotion.com. they have a search menu on the left that you can just view nam files. everything you should need will be there, along with links (if you read each ones desc page) to dependencies youll need. hope this helped, pm me if you need more help 4.gif

Hmmm.... I'm not the greatest expert at this.

If you want to remove the last NAM, there probably is a way.

Otherwise, the new NAM might have a cleanitol file that does that work for you.... not very sure..

and yes, crashing would be a bad thing.... I have to bear with that as I speak. If I dont press save within 10 minutes of playing, for me there is a 70% chance itll crash... really sucks when youve done so much work, just makes you feel retarded inside.

Talk to a moderator or an expert CJer, they should know.

thanks guys for all your help, i really appreciate it, but i just decided to not install SAM, I worked really hard on Chihiro and I dont want to go through reinstalling NAM and SAM and have my city ruined for a street mod. An update should be coming up later on in the day! 4.gif

And I'm sorry to hear about your city anik, the same thing happend to me, turns out there was a lot that I placed in the city that was messed up, so after I deleted it, everything was fine.

    Update: San Prado

Let's take our eyes of off the capital and into its suburbs: San Prado. With a population of 5,200, San Prado is the wealthiest city in Petrova and second in Eastern Europe. The city is located south of the capital with its own state of the art athletics center. The city is heavily guarded and secured. Everyone who lives in SP earns more than 150,000 Petrovars/Dollars a year.

    SanPradoMosaic1.jpgSanPradoMosaic2.jpgSanPradoMosaic3.jpgSanPradoMosaic4.jpg

    Update: Project Brytyavska Misc.

The city architects have designed a new layout of the downtown. Here is a shot of the old downtown:

    Chihiro-Jun176851222454283.jpg

As you can see from above, the old downtown uses a lot of Maxis content. The new one will be using about 70% STEX buildings. The new downtown has been started and should be done by Summer 2009. The highways will be sunken and there will be a canal that will go through the downtown core. The new downtown will also look realistic. Here is an ad of the approved downtown:

And I probably owe you guys a region shot, so here it is:

Next Update: Petrolympics and the preparations for the MissSimuniverse Competition.

The Petrolympics is a national competition that occurs in Petrova a couple of weeks prior to the next simlympics to determine the athletes representing the country.

Due to Project Brytyavska, the host city is Grevershki, Petrova from November 24-30. 400 athletes will compete to make it to the final 60 to represent Petrova in Ylmeria. Even though Greverski will be the main area for the games, some events will be held in other places in the country. This Petrolympics will be the biggest yet with the coronation of Prince Matthias during the Opening Ceremony.
