I had the lowing funding problem before, only it happened to the power plants for me. It was in a relatively new region, and there wasn't much on the affected city tile, just some industrial, a port, the residential needed to sustain the industry, and various seawalls and parks.

    Fred:

funds of education and healthcare just drop by themselves and I have to manually higher them every 3 months or do. I don't know if that happened to someone else before or if it had been heard of , but it is a bit annoying.quote>

It's my understanding that somewhere on the forums there's a thread about this (or at least a detailed post- I've seen it but can't recollect when or where).  It seems, as I recall, that if you use some of the DL-able schools and medical facilities, then bulldoze them later, or take them out of your plugin folder (or both- heck, the old mind just ain't the steel trap it used to be), the game still thinks they are there consuming the resources that you see disappearing.  Kind of like a memory hole in some poorly-written software programs.  I don't think the problem is solvable, if I recall correctly.  It's the main reason why I really, really carefully select whatever I DL and put in my plugins when BAT or Lot doesn't come from a recognized STEX God...

...heh, you wouldn't know any of those, would you?

Good luck, my friend.  If I come across more info on this, I'll be sure to let you know.

    Axis City...........The End Part 9
Part *B1* ....The Neighboring Counties surrounding the City of Axis

Tenzel Outlet - Axis Harbour - Axis South - Round Lake Junction

As promissed here is Axis City's second part . Part B will be the surrounding townships that either are partially or fully  managed by the City of Axis itself.

Today we will look mainly at the surrounding parts or counties of Axis City before we will enter the city itself in a couple of weeks or so (in Part C-1 and C-2). This Part (B1) is the first of two. in other words, we will be seeing the neighboring counties in two parts (geeeeez, that's a whole lot of parts....lol).
So let's start today with Axis Harbour. You all know that it now belongs to Axis City, we have discussed that earlier in this CJ and I also showed more pics at that time, so today only one picture will be enough to get back to the memories of Genesis's biggest harbour. Axis Harbour was bought out by Axis City a little more than fitfty years ago, when it was close to go bankrupt. Offered to Gloryville and Axis City, only the last offered better conditions and it was sold. the Harbour is the biggest on Genesis today, helping greatly the City's and country's economy. What a shame for Gloryville, it lost something big then, but it gained something different elsewhere.(we get to that later)

    1AxisHarbor-harbourview.jpg

The north-eastern part of Round Lake Junction became part of Axis City when residential needs for zoning were at the highest, about 40 years ago. Today it is considered (in part) as Axis's Suburbs with a slight rural and agricultural influence. From here access to Axis South, Axis Downtown and Grand Dam City is a piece o'cake.

    2RoundLakeJunction-ViewAxis.jpg

Easily reachable from the Maincity, it didn't take long and the northeast of Round Lake was filled. Although taxes are a little higher than elsewhere in the surrounding cities, the people with bigger revenues moved in freely. This part of the city has even a high percentage of Gaburan immigrants from Mahoon. Gaburans are hardworking folks, therefore they can offer themselves a better appartment and living style. Encouraged by the worker's demand that Genesis had fifteen years ago, when Urulians slowed down to immigrate, Gaburans were offered high wages and the small invasion started. Today they live together with the Nexians.

Even Tenzel Outlet wasn't spared when Axis and Gloryville grew. The municipality simply does not exist anymore officially under that name. The biggest part belongs to Gloryville (lower parts of line in the picture), the former Capitol of Genesis, and the north-west is ruled by Axis City. Everything north of the Tenzel river calls itself now Axis suburbs. And all the smaller islands though went to Gloryville.

    4TenzelOutlet-Axispart.jpg

Where once garbage from several township was storted and processed, today industries are growing like weed, smelly and dirty weeds. At one time garbage disposal was urgently needed in the growing regions of Axis, and Axis South (northside of the Tenzel River) was chosen as a  perfect place. But no one at that time thought about the expansions of all the cities and the massive accumilating amount of trash, and then Mayor Rico Az (some of you might remember him) of Axis South signed a contract with the Genesis Garbage Disposal Industry (GGDI) in StoneValley (where still all today's Garbage goes) and soon the place was cleaned out and Axis South started making a lot of money, getting rid of all the garbage in the east, and of course getting cleaner.

    6bAxisSouth-Reminder.jpg

Today this area is the principal manufacturing industries north of the Tenzel river and belonging to Axis City. Not quite as big as the industries out west in Cedar Bay, but second in place on Genesis hiring agreat amount of workers. Only one problem, it started to get some smog on warm and humid days. The Government was going to have a serious look at this last year, but as all the politicians, they have not done anything yet and I even wonder if they had a look at it yet....

    6AxisSouth-Industry.jpg

On both sides of the industries, the residential zones have invaded the riverbanks, which is now the third biggest suburbs (after Hawklyn and Harbour) of Axis City.  The services in this area are just perfect and appreciated by all types of Genesians. One of the best schooling systems, garbage disposal, police surveillance and also other common needs for people, like smaller commercial stores and acces to some entertainment etc, makes this community a nice place to live. Also, you just take the bridge and you're in Axis South (Gloryville part) or the train and the northroad to Axis City, a thirty minute drive from here by car. What can one ask for more, living in a city that feels like a town.

    7AxisSouth-residential.jpg

There will be a follow-up of this part in a couple of days. We will be seeing Hawklyn Valley , now called West-Axis, which is the biggest *outpart* of Axis City.

'til then, behave yourself and don't do what I wouldn't do...Have a nice week.
