We all will miss Mrs. Nexis and Barby, Now that I've finished all my current projects, I'm gonna take a vacation with my family, we are going to Uru for about a month foir some much neede R&R. Poor Jim, sure there will be a vacation for you, but not at this moment, for you still have four mansions to finish as you promissed to their owners, before you leave with your wife Lin and your three kids Kegan,Kristina and Sam for a month to the Urulian beaches.

I knew that I had a few projects to finish but it's still time for a vacation, I do have the money now. My family is sure looking forward to it.

Alexander MacVicar, the owner of the Genesis Standard Mines, has bought the land beside Slayer and had a Country Home built, now that he is slowly aging like everyone else. Looking for some peace and quiet, this was probably the best place for it, since almost all the residents are of a certain age in this landscape and look for some relaxation. Mr MacVicar plants some cabbages , just to have some fun watching them grow. He spents almost all weekends now here.

 

I finally have some more info that Dr Evel gave me about this thing going on with Rilian,Hawklyn and the Dutch Kid. They have met again at Dr Evel's biggest Styarbucks in Nexis City and this time he listened in a bit.
There is something cooking for sure and they are about to publish it, Dr Evel thinks, now that their thing is registered with the Administration Office and Mr Night as they mentioned. This will surely big. Nothing is for sure though what exactly it is , but I suppose we will all soon know.
I only wonder what a farmer, a Drinking-Water supplier and a server in a Resto-Bar have in common. Do YOU have an idea?

In Nexis City things were busy for Jim lately, having built 4 mansions in a row on the Royal Hill. First , it was Wren Trey's turn to have his new luxury home an leaving his appartment down below, just neighboring Troy Nexis , than Dan came in and had his home built at the end of the road. He used to live downtown just beside the Elderly home. And then Dr Evel sold his home near his Starbucks here in Nexis City, only to move in on the hill also, and finally General Jerter form Atlas found his home too. All these houses are on top of the hill overlooking the bay and Rilian's Marina.

A closer look at these villas show us again that Jim has been doing excellent work, and finally he left this morning with his whole family to Uru for a month of relaxing vacation. I suppose that he has earned it alright.
Dr Evel and Dan really wanted more privacy than the others, since they have built their homes further back of the street.

In the savage West the highway and the rails are continuing their direction towards the western region and they are doing it as if there was a competition between them to be the first at the borderline. No man has ever set foot in these regions and new fauna and wildlife are discovered almost every day. Only three more townships to cross and the connection can be made. This is a vaste valley, lushgreen and many forest, that Tim Chula and Huber Sims from Razor Blade are already having a look at. This area is called Groundhog Springs because of the mass of groundhogs that can be seen on the hillsides and the quantity of Springs all around.

In Gloryville an anouncement was made today by Wren Trey that he is going into buissness with his competitors, because of his new invention of the 3D Screenphone. Wren's system will just add to the already existing system and make it much more realistic and faster. Mr Trey's Company will though stay independant and he will continue with his chain of Computer and Electronics stores. The new Corporation is calles *ZNT*, for Zeddicton, Nexis and Trey Ltd. The first 3d screen phone was installed in the Grand Ruler's office and in the Main Office of the army in Atlas. This system includes the Mini LBST system that Joao Otavio has invented, which Joao will get his share from also. Now you can talk to a person miles away, see him and even hand him over a coffee you just made through the 3d screen. The Mini-LBST will travel in a system all over Genesis through Glassfiber lines that will have to be laid everywhere. That might take some years to completely accomplish.
The big contract was signed in Mr Trey's office in Gloryville in the presence of Mr Night from the Stormy Night Law Offices. History was made by four electronic Geniuses.

Now  something completely appart. To prevent a whole town from going bankrupt, the Mayor of Axis Harbour put up its Harbour for sale, believe it or not. And it took less than a day after the news were published to be sold to two parties, the Sirius Group from Uru and surprizingly Mr Sven again. The total price asked and received by the Mayor was

as usual, some spectacular stuff there, Mr. B., and i find your custom lot use incredible...i like those mills.

another one of those little things - there is a shot showing Rilian's Marina...the body of water near the marina looks very realistic...i like the shallow water, followed by deeper, then deeper, then deeper water. that has a very nice, realistic feel to it

Capt Kirk here of Gloryville Fire department. Was impressed by the speed of which our rival firefighters put out that fire a few day ago. The new extinguishing system is known as High expansion foam. This is a mixture of water, foam compound and compressed air. It smothers and sufficates the fire therefore putting it our quickly, also it is environmentaly safe as the foam breaks up naturally leaving no polution. All Gloryvilles appliances have this installed (likewise in real life we have it in our fire engine). Date to remeber for your diaries. The Genisis Fire services Extraction competition start next week. The competition to get a whole car through a 18 tire will start on Monday, first prize will be a night out at Gloryvilles exclusive nightclub. and an audiance with the nexis. Gloryville firefighters have finished decorating their station as call outs are infrequent at the moment, but as the fireworks start flying towards the end of the yar this may change. Highlight of the week, removing a sink off a prominant part of a distinguished polition (actually we had to do this in real life, it was stuck in the overflow hole and the guy went to hospital with about 3 inches of porceline either side that we left for surgeons to remove.) A few rubish fires were dealt with but Gloryvile fire fighters are waiting for their big job to prove their worth (hint, hint!!)

A short update this morning. Thanks for all the comments.

 

First, the one person of Skinner, the first one, has not been found yet, but still it counts always one more resident than the sctual count is. I guess with time of civilizing this area, we will find out who and where is living that one person. The search the other day was abandonned because of the immense forests growing in these parts and impossible to cover all... (this is to follow)

 

When Grand Falls opened its doors for sale, Jim jumped onto the occasion and bought it almost all out. The land below is suspect to a once-a-year inondation, because of the melting of the upper mountains in the north,which fill up the falls of Grand Falls every spring and wetten the whole land below; but Jim has a solid idea for some interesting futur projects and got the land for almost nothing, since no one really wanted it. Jim only bought the bottom part of the Canyon Valley. On top of the hill is the Valley Observation Center, where scientists are still figuring out how and why the gigantic valley has a different Eco-system.

 

Also nearby in a neighboring township a volcano erupted lately, something has never been seen before on Genesis ever since the Urluians arrived. It was only a small eruption and bigger ones are not expected for the moment. The volcano is about in the middle of the Canyon Lake Valley, but the smoke rising into the skies were seen from Gloryville and all the other towns nearby,towering over the surrounding mountains. It is planned to build a road to these parts of the world to have better access to study the volcanic actions and the valley in the futur.

Another one who almost bought out a township is Ninten, who just had this crazy need to build his own town all of sudden. East of Three Towers and far away from everything lies a no named county that he bought at 60% of the land available. Although the land was not expensive at all, Ninten had to take a loan from the Nexis Banks. There is not even a road leading to these parts of Genesis and they had to go by plane to see its landscape. Here is where the Nexis River ends with a delta into the sea, having created a big Bay.

 

Other news: Today we had three newborns arrived in the Urulian and Genesian hospitals. First a big boy of 14 lbs was born on Uru, named Kirk, then  another boy in Cedar Bay, named Octavius Augustus Sobchak and the last, whose father owns a small department store in Axis City,was born Kane Lieberman.

The next update will be a detailed update of everyone participating. Now , my choices have been done to slowly eliminate the older generation of citizens, and I will go by the amount that the creators of the characters have participated and commented. Some of you, I don't even hear from anymore, that is why Elizabeth White (couchpotato) and Barby (BarbyW) were already erased. Soon many others will follow and only a few will stay and reach their 100 years of existance on Genesis, and yes...these are those that were present a lot of times in this CJ. The choices have already been made, so no need of you to try to *catch up*....The next Generation awaits their turn with little patience! So let's give them a chance to continue what you all started.

That is a lot of land out there in the middle of nowhere. I wonder what will happen to it in the future.

I'm not sure people are going to go to Corus to pick up their stuff. I think you said the water was over 100-something degrees.

I better post comments, I don't think my shining moment has come yet, but I don't want to be erased before it. Not that it makes a difference, everything is written down already.

 

The explanation for the mysterious light makes so much sense in this story, it was a perfect way to explain the phenomenon.

 

Brilliant work, I hope it continues for the next generation.

Evermind, no your shining moment hasn't come yet and you surely will not be the next, but also commenting now in great numbers won't help, since all the citizens have already a number when they will go. Elizabeth White was number 1 and Barby number2. Number 3 will be.....
Besides, Evermind, your moment of glory in my CJ did not come yet.

Your mansion will be in the second next update, just before you leave to Verto.

 

Yes ninten, no one will get their stuff on Corus, no place to land and beside too darn boiling hot. The stuff probably is melted already.

Well Uralia is bueatiful, beaches and metropolises. I also have big plans for that land I bought, and As soon as I can I want to buy some land above the falls also. BTW as of yet absouloutley NO mansions are to be built here or any development of any kind. Yet
