I just noticed the harbor in Axis Harbor is so poorly planned. Mayor Ciroyon sure had a bad plan, I not sure how he was able to create a habor that is to cramped for large ship use on one hand and on the other hand is way to big for the volume of traffic that would flow there. Large ships would never fit in the habor, and the storage requirements for cargo are non existant. Maybe the town can get out of debt by selling off the habor to one of the wealthy personalities for commercial or residential hirise redevelopment.

timotheus I'm still a couple of personalities away from being on Nexis, & probably not even born but my guys will find a way to make your life miserable, unless of course you want to seek an alliance.

This morning on Rico's Tv, this was the news. The Tiel Oil Company in New Sholes discovered an enormous underground crude oil lake of the finest quality under the mountains in Stone Valley. This is the municipality, where all the garbage and recuperation goes, also the residue of the MacVicar Mines.
The quality of this petroleum bassin is so great that Tiel must harvest it and it took only one day and the whole area was bought from the Regional Administration Office in Gloryville by the Petroleum Giant. A 4 % of the profit will go to the public funds.
This is one heck of a challenge though to extrude the crude oil, because of the freezing temperatures of the high elevation, plus the danger of the mountain collapsing, once the oil will be pumped out. An Expertise will be done, and it is considered to do the horizontal drilling also.

 

In West Axis Mr Adley Hawklyn from the Hawklyn Valley Farms and Miss Kitty Cat from the Experimental Farm have signed a lifetime contract to rent 4 acres of land to Miss Kitty for her to build her mansion on higher grounds. We all remember that she had the bad experience with the inondation last year. After Miss Kitty Cat's death, Adley will become the rightful owner of the mansion as long as he pays the current value plus 12% to the heirs (inheritors) of Miss Kitty Cat.
Mr Hawklyn owns 62 % of this county and almost 90 % of this hill. The other 10 % belongs to a certain Mr Benson on Uru, whose wife just had a boy, named Chad Benson.

Edit: Important error on the above picture. Where it says *Rented land to Evermind* it should say *Miss Kitty Cat* instead of Evermind, sorry about this....I'm getting mixed up sometimes with all these characters around....lol

 

In Round Lake Junction things are changing, too fast for some as I heard. The Street car Racing strip was inaugerated today without the direct presence of his righful owner, Mr Otavio. Since Joao Otavio is on Uru and awaiting the grand moment of the vessels arriving on Opall, the meteor, any day now, he could not make it to the official opening, but attended through a big screen via the LBST Screen Phone,something that Troy Nexis invented last year to comunicate directly through images to Uru and vice versa.
Mr Otavio even witnessed the first race with the screenphone.
It didn't take long for the neighboring lots to be filled with Motels, gaz-stations,stores and even a casino soon to come. The Mayor is thanking Joao for bringing him the *tourists' money*, which of course helps this municipality's economy. Some don't like it.
Will this be the end of this little village?

Here is a night shot of this new racestrip, and the preparing of the land for the Casino, the first on Genesis, which will be totally under the government control.

Remember awhile ago when we followed the expansion of a small village to become a small town? Moose Bone today got its first Elementary School, which the Director Dan ordered awhile ago. Finally the kids can go to school here instead of traveling 40 minutes to Kate Springs every morning and afternoon. Nothing was here before Tim Chula started his sawmill to harvest the finest wood of Genesis here, the Nuganty tree.

The growth of this community is so important that the Rulers in Gloryville had to stop the residential growth to prevent the Nuganty forest to become endangered. (Remember only a selective cut with quota is allowed here). Now only about 25 more residential and commercial lots are available on this side of the river, the north side. But several parts of the southside of the Big Pine River, that flows from Kate Springs through here to Pine lake in the west, have been dezoned and are opened for construction. Lyll Nexis, daughter of Vallen Nexis and owner of the Nexis Bridges and Railways, has already planned to build another bridge over this river to access the south side easier.

Here goes part two of yesterday's update.

 

In Lichen something happened lately, the light is gone, but it left a square hole about 150 meters deep where it was. Scientists will rush to take soil samples. Mr Otavio was imediatly notified and he didn't even react on this news, telling the scientists that it only makes his suspicion more evident. After the vessels arrived near Opall, Mr Otavio will have a press conference to announce both the arrival and the explanation of the mysterious light in Lichen. ...*Nothing to worry about*...he said this morning.

 

Disaster in Cedar Bay, which left Rilian and Swamper very nervous for a moment. A fire broke out in the Similong's Paint Manufacturing plant, which is close to Rilian's waterworks in the south (just on the other side of the road) and even closer to Swamper Signs Ltd,the Commercial Division, just on its westside. Thousands of

slayerovsims: I have already written an important update of ALL the members of this Cj awhile ago that I will post shortly. It will contain all  information about each and everyone of us up to this date, including family,age and so on. But first I have to make some more important updates.

 

Now while we're at it, THIS IS the LAST CHANCE you have to tell me if you want to have a family in this story. After the second update from now, it will be too late. So pm me with your wife's and kid's names. Otherwise all the stuff that you own here will be either sold or given to the administration.

This update will be in four parts, that's how big it is and it will be uploaded in the rate of one per day.(hopefully, unless I get some visitors in the evening this week)

Let's start with Jim, who is very busy again building all these mansions, villas and expensive homes and he is busy alright as we will all see in the next episodes.

Today he finished the Home of Rico Az in Axis South, just west outside of the city on the land that Rico bought quite awhile ago. As we know, Rico just made a couple of million

Another update today, part 2 of 4.

Bad news and not only once, but twice this morning.
The Gloryville Hospital announced earlier that Mrs Vallen Nexis deceased of her influenza this morning. Her state was deteriorating very fast during the night and nothing could be done to safe her. The whole Nexis Family was in a pityful shape and nothing of their corporation were opened today. Mrs Nexis, aged 69, will be buried in her hometown of Urulia on Uru later this week and the ceremony will be private only to the family. We all hope that she will rest in peace.

 

Another death early this morning is the one of Barby in Gloryville. She was found dead asleep in her bed,probably died during the night. Doctors said that she had a stroke.  Barby at the age of 61 was the owner of the Relaxation and Vacation Center on top of the hill in Gloryville, just near the natural Park. She was also the president of the Park association, having saved the Gloryville wilderness from getting destroyed. Since she did not have any descendants at all, the Vacation Center and also the land that she owned in Megantic/Oxalis,went to the Natural Park Association in Gloryville, who will continue her dreams. She will be buried and honoured later this week in the Grand Gloryville Cemetary.
Miss Barby was the quiet type,hardly ever heard from her. Every Saturday she traveled to Axis South to get her chocolate that she welcomed her guests with. Most every one on Genesis knew her, especially Vallen Nexis, who spent many moments at her Center.I guess it was hrad for Vallen today,losing his wife and a good friend at the same time.
Barby will be remembered and her Center will continue to function as long as people need to relax. May she rest in peace.

 

Now, as we said earlier, Jim has been busy lately and here is the proof. In Bolton, and on Bolton Hill, Sherlock Holmes was able to finally move into his new home that he ordered almost a year ago, just below the Brett Mansion. From here he can see his HQ below that he is planning to improve very soon with the help of Mr Vegetable.

On Pig's Island in Tenzel Outlet, the lots were opened for sale and Ninten was the first to make his choice. Once the bridge was installed, it didn't take long for him to build his own new home on the cliff near the sea. He bought 14 acres there and has a beautiful view of the Tenzel town on the Mainland.

In West Axis Miss Kitty Cat was able to move into her new home also, the job that Jim personally worked on. She moved in with her husband Owen Milton just in time when she got pregnant. Right now she is tired still from the stress of the inondation and now the new home and Miss Kitty took 2 years partially off from her job, but still going once in awhile to survey things down in the valley on the experimental farm.

And to top it all of , Jim finalized Joao Otavio's home on the riversides of Three Towers South. Mr Otavio did not like the presence of the Pharmaceutical plant being his close neighbor, so he sold his home only to built a new one further away.
Mr Otavio is on Uru right now busy with the preparing for the landing of the vessels on Opall, and only saw pictures of his home that Jim has sent through internet. He will be back in about two weeks to move in.
