The first city I haven't quit on since getting the game, Founders Flat; population approximately 187,000 sims.

Full 1280x1024 version: Here
FoundersFlat187k.JPG' width=800 height=6

And a region shot, The Region Formerly Known as New York; population approximately 375,000 sims. The city next to Founders Flat has about 118k at the time of this shot. I really need to make more suburbs.

yep I got one.  I have recently been doing some experiments with mass transit and achieved my highest population ever, approximately 500k in single city.  here is a pic of the city with a small suburb of about 33k to the west and an industrial center to the south.  no cheats were used in the making of this city.  (silly name I know but like I said I was expermenting):

Largest city I have has about 860000 sims on a large tile.

The largest region, Encounter Bay, is the one I am currently working on with a population of 11 million sims! No cheats, and the only mod in use is NAM.

To be perfectly honest... the commute time is really a bother... and because i use the abandonment cheat.. i sometimes don't even know whether my residents have been abandon until i see my population shrink dramatically... but other than that...  noise problems don't seem to be an issue that drives my sims out of town..

My largest township is aproximently 1,357,000. It consists of 7 Large tiles. The city is constained by both water and mountains. Its all High Density. There is some industry on the outling areas. But for the most part it is commercial.

Cheats? Only the NAM and costom made buildings.

It can be found on my CJ.

Wowee, nice big Ones! I bought Sim City last week. Before
that I've never played a Prequel. But I like the terraforming of the landscape. So I formed my own region which I find is not that easy to settle on.
What do you think how much pop could pop up here:

    Skyland.jpg

Well the Game is fun. I don't know why I came to it earlier.
But there are so many things which could make it even more fun
so I hope a SC5 will be around the corner soon.

    Cheers! 48.gif

Wow, some of these are huge!  Sad, but true, my biggest city on my map that I'm playing now has 120,000 people, and the region is at 170,000 right now!  Look for it on a City Journal in a short while...

the highest populated city i have ever created had a pop. of... oh... i think around 40000 sims in a region of 60000 sims... had to delete all those cities cuz there weren't enough jobs being created.  currently, i have a city of 10000 on a large city tile.  lags horribly, though
