Lewis Hamilton wins F1 title

Wonder how many people on here watched this, and more interestingly as an international forum, who was cheering on Massa or Hamilton. 

Have to say, as a Brit, I am thrilled for Hamilton. I do also have a lot of sorrow for Massa, who did help make it undoubtedly the best F1 season in recent times. What a race it was though.

I watched... I'm British... I'm ecstatic!

Massa is a great driver, and would have been a deserving winner. He did all he could on the day. I can't help thinking though, that if the stewards had made better decisions earlier on in the season it would have been wrapped up sooner for Hamilton.

It was a nervous final lap! I nearly collapsed with nerves!

It's going to be far more competitive next year. Any one from 5 or 6 could be in with a shout next season. There's some talented drivers in the field at the moment. Lets just see if the cars can keep up with them, and they can keep up with the rule changes!

I was hoping Massa would win it. Not because I'm against Hamilton, but just because it would be freaking awesome to win the title and win the race in your home country. Kudos to both of them, such a dramatic change of events they had to keep up with in the last few laps.

BTW: rumours say they're going to bring back the Canadian Grand Prix for next season!

Lewis Hamilton just somehow.. intensly irritates me in the same way Tim Hedman does

I didn't watch... the TV was on though and I listened to it. I was cheering for Massa, but I think Hamilton is a deserving champion too.

I think Timo Glock ruined it for Massa. the way he dramatically slowed on the last corner...looks fishy.

I bet brits will be happy that they have a world champion driver since 1996 since last time Damon Hill won the C'ship.

Im Britsh And im from stevenage where lewis hamilton live got his own parking space in asda.

He deserved to win it thank you to GloCk but i think his team may of told him to slow down

Hamilton lives in Switzerland! He probably doesn't get to Asda much anymore!

I was a bit suspicious of Glock's slowdown too. I'm surprised there's been no inquiry. They couldn't really punish Hamilton & McLaren though if Glock was told to slow down, unless it was McLaren that did the telling!!

I'm glad to see after all the obvious FIA bull-crap about passing and all that hoopla, the real and true champion comes to light and takes it. Maybe there will be more integrity next year in F1.

Yeah congrats to Hamilton! It was so tense though, he won the championship on the last corner.
