WELCOME TO ISLAND CITY!!!

Island City, a city of 4 islands and 2 land masses. It started out in the Pacific Ocean when I was sailing on a boat taking a cruise. Then a big storm came along, and blew me on an abandoned island chain. I quickly found out that there was a city here about 300,000 people and they got wiped out after a mysterous diesease killed all of the people in 1989. I soon found a golf cart and surprizingly, it still had gas in it. Well, I took the cart and toured the city. Then I found out that the nation's colors are Black, Grey, and Purple. They had an interstate system but it was like the autobahn, it had no speed limit. When I was touring the agraculture island, I stumbled across a genetic lab a got the power generators online and then I found out the there was about 1,200 people that cynogenically frozen themselves to survive the diesease. So then as their mayor, we RE-STARTED Island city. Pictures below.

well it looks interesting but it does need improvement though. Those pics should be posted offsite. If you dont know how to do that read the cj rules thread. There you can get a lot of great info on how to improve your cj. If you have photoshop, use it instead of paint. The image quality is much better. Ill check out sunday's update. Good luck

Keep it coming, lets see what this turns out to be. I could suggest mixxing your zoning up alittle. Also I-144 isn't really interstate grade if I was referring to interstate. But I like the concept. Oh make the coastline / edges of your islands smoother so you can have beaches.

    SUNDAY'S UPDATE!!!!

psander5- Good job on the Virgin Shores election, I hope you win.

    jacqulina- Thank you very much.

manubeas- Sorry, I don't have photoshop. Even more worse is that I'm now a sophmore in H.S. and I was going to take journalism, but the budget cuts cut out the journalism class 15.gif( . Well at least my Uncle Garland is flying in from Loveland, CO this Thanksgiving. And he owns/operates a very good photography bussiness. Maybe he can give me some pointers.

fabsies55- Thank You and I can see that.

N4C-Thank you for the reply. Good luck on your Blue Hope CJ.

    UPDATE #1!!!

Okay with all of the people un-frozen from their cryogenic sleep, I told them that it was the year 2008 not 1989. Told them about all of the stuff and you know what I'm talking about. Well we made the zones, repaired the interstate, started re-installing all of the utilities, and rebuilt the school, hospital, libary, etc... . Then after that, we started building the city. Everything is going fine until the Prime Minister of Japan found my island and sooner than you can pronounce the longest word in the English dictionary, we established trade agreements. In the middle of having a barbacue with them, one of my advisors notified me that Greenpeace was here. So, we talked and agreed that all of our cars is going to run on Hydrogen, Solar, or electric except for cargo ships. After saying that, the built my house enviro-friendly. The next morning I woke up and saw that Japanese enginners were about to build something BIG more like, HUGE for my city. Now it is up to you to think and post what YOU THINK they are doing. Update 2 this evening or Monday. Pics below.
