wow this looks like a real city!!! but dont you think that you could extend the downtown area a little further back??[/quoteMESSAGE][/bEGINQUOTE]

No, Im pretty done with everything in downtown exept adding new BATs. This is how big downtown will get, and in fact it is going to end up to big numericaally (sp?) For a downtown that large I should have at least a couple million sims. I only have 300,000 lol.

    /idealbb/files/p258.jpg

Area near the base of the World Trade Center, The plazas are a part of Spire Park.

    /idealbb/files/p342.jpg

Centered on the heart of Spire Park, you can also see Menerva Tower (BAT building) and the BCH Tower Lit up for the night.

    /idealbb/files/p427.jpg

The North/Western most part of downtown. It has a high population of BAT buildings from many artists.

    /idealbb/files/p525.jpg

One of the newer buisness districts in Verona, It is located behind NEXIS Park and just before mid town.

A pic looking towards the coast, you can see most of Verona in this pic.

    /idealbb/files/p710.jpg

Centered on the St. Johns Catholic church, one of the oldest buildings in Verona.

Just wondering, are there any cars on the roads ever? The screenshots just look weird because the lack of traffic in the downtown. Other than that, they are great!

I had to turn off the traffic in order to make the game somewhat playable. If it was on there would be way to much lag. Thanx for the complitment!

Those are some nice looking night shots!  It's a very impressive skyline at night.  Can't wait to see the rest of your cities.  I should note that your transition from High density to medium to low looks quite good.  Very convincing.  Keep it up!

Nice city, MayorTim. I just wanted to ask, do you use any special mods or plopables on this city? It looks really good, and I was hoping to learn a little about what master city builders use in their cities (Not that I am new to this game, I've been playing since that first rainy day when I got Sim City 2000, and have bought Sim City 3000 and Sim City 4 since then). Keep the updates coming! I am looking foreward to reading all of them.

I use a lot of things for realisim issues.

Cheats: I use the power cheat because it is very un-realistic for every city to have a power plant, and the power deals don't work in my game.

I use the water cheat because I dont have enough time to build and lay out pipes, so the city would move twice as slow.

    Thats it for the cheats.

    Mods: Bigger flora brush

pine dat (makes every tree a pine)

    edited rock color

simoleon modd (I start out with 500,000 instead of 100,000

    snow capped mountain modd

    farm jobs x10 modd

    super demand modd

no radiation caused by rewards modd

    trasnsit bugfixes

    bridge hight modd

    realistic transit modd (by DM)

that is every modd i use

Lots: I use a lot of lots, so I wont name them all, but I really dont have and radical lots. no money lots, nothing like that. just what I think looks good.

    Thats it!
