You know, if you split that region image into four quadrants, you could post a shot of each corner.  That would increase the resolution of the region by quite a bit.  Looks nice tho.

Actually, I tried that once. In the end i came out with odd angeled pics though. I ended up with a parrelelogram instead of  squares. I will do more close up region shots though.

Here is the update for today. Im almost done with Verona, all I have to do now is install my sea walls (sorry PEG, but Verona,s coast just aint straight enough).

Your downtown just keeps getting better and better.  I don't even recognize a couple of the buildings you have there.  I particularly like the brick coloured building with the blue V near the top in the 7th image.  Keep up the good work!

I also enjoy this building. Here it is in real life. It is called the Scotia Plaza in Toronto Canada.

I think you should download First Canadian Place from simcity4.com I think it would be nice it you placed it beside the CN Tower. Also maybe another would be the Dominion Tower. These three building + the CN Tower all reside in Toronto. Yeah Go Leafs Go!

Well, the other series has been postponed. You guys may not know this, but since the last update I have been at war with a no job zot problem. They have been tearing apart the entire Verona peninsula, killing off all of my R$$$ and most of my R$$ sims. The demand for the two plumited, and I lost a lot of my population. But, I finally think I have it beat. I decided to throw Verona into an industrial boom. I had to introduce a few new mods along with the industry though. I now have an air purification plaza, the industry quadrupler modd, and the farm times 10 modd. I am begining to add more industry. The purification plaza is to insure that dirty industry doesnt smother my hi-tech, which withour hi tech, there is no point in all the new industry. So far everything is going well. The majority of the new industry is hi-tech, and although there are some buildings still abandoned, there are no more no job zots in any of my cities. Also, I had to add some industry into the national forest. I am not sure if the forest is going to  survive, since I really need more building room. At the very least it will halved in size. This is going to change the whole region.

Yay! I have been working on fixing my cities almost all day, and I got every city like 95% repaired. The industry looks good, and its really paying off with jobs and demand. Sorry that i couldn't get that update up tonight, and I am going to do somthing diffrent tomorrow night to. So you guys will just have to wait for the surprise.

I've run into a few difficulties with NJZ's in some of my outlying suburbs as well.  Always a pain but at least it's a solvable pain.  I think a night life series will be quite cool.  Just because it isn't a surprise anymore doesn't make it any less cool!  Night shots of some of those cities should be very cool indeed.  Can't wait to see.

Dont worry Jcab! Ill still make the update. First I want to hit whats happening right now though. So maybe on firday it will start Night Life. Then It will run for 10 days strait.

 

Edit:sorry Elodia, I didnt see your post. Ya, I have njz problems in just about every city I make, but it has never been this bad! Building a new subdivision somewho triggered every city near it to get flooded with njz! Its ok now though. My industry killed off those horrible njz. Now Im just trying to fix the damage that they caused.
