The multiple railway tracks adds a nice touch of realism to the city.  Looks good.  Has a very different feel from the downtown area.

I agree. Those Railroads get me every time. Good work with the new town. And you consider that ugly? I think it looks awesome.

Oh yeah. Have an imploding guy for getting to your 10th page.<ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/38.gif> (I don't want to take anyone's bunnies...)

I have a feeling that I've only seen a few of the stage 7 and 8 buildings, especially in the new sets. I've stopped using my map that had 3.5million people because I was having crashing problems and had removed many lot files that I didn't want anymore (had too many) and so I was getting errors all kinds. I'm going to be a lot more scrupulous (sp) with what I implement now. I'm sure I'll run accross the stage 7 and 8 again soon.

Actually, the John Hancock Tower is a BAt building and you can get it on the BEX.

Thanx for the comments and imploding head guys!<ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/21.gif>

Phew. After Fosterk's comment, I was holding my breath! (about the rail)

And I dont think Caribiniri is ugly at all! In fact, its one of my favorite citys. What I was saying is that the boarders of it dont match up with the other citys and so it looks bad in REGION view.

I'm loving the realism here. It's very realistic. Usually I care more about population when I build, but hey, realism is great if it looks nice. Also, how'd you make that airport? Whaer'd you get those lots that make it up?

Finally I had time to play! Yet another city has been started and i come bearing pics!

The boarders are finally ok (but they still do need some work and the com center in Catilina needs to be deleted) Here is a region pic.

    /idealbb/files/Gotland-1080252413.jpg

The boxes show the 2 new towns. The larger one to the left is Caribiniri, while the smaller one in the right is the new town of Suceri. This update will focus on Suceri.

    /idealbb/files/p161.jpg

Suceri is home to many farms as well as the Palermo Bridge, which spans from the Verona Peninsula to the mainland.

    /idealbb/files/p254.jpg

    Some more of Suceri's farms.

    /idealbb/files/p340.jpg

And here is a picture of downtown Suceri. Already you can see some skyscrapers, this is about as big as downtown is going to get.

Thats it for now. please leave a comment!<ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/1.gif>

Nice bridge.  What is on the other side...?  Good cities, but that avenue is Suecci, it kind of ends...  You might have done this already, but you should probably connect that avenue to the farms.  <ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/38.gif>  Imploding guy for the new city!

Amazing region, I had a realistic region once and I'm building another on using realism. Anyway, good job with that region.

Here are 2 transportation maps as requested by Sim Master. One is of the south (including the Verona Peninsula) and one is of the northern area (elba and Sagronda Bend).

    /idealbb/files/p162.jpg

This one is, of course, of Verona.

    /idealbb/files/p255.jpg

And here is a map of Elba and Sagronda bend, the two oldest cities in this region.
