TWO QUESTIONS

Hey Guys,

 

I have two questions, any kind of help will be much appreciated.

 

1. How do you make BAT buildings light up on a regular windows pc? I seen the post about the mac but that was it.

 

2. How do I load one of these regions that are available on this site into my game? I made a new region, I replaced the config file with the downloaded config file. I did the alt+ctrl+*****+r and tried loading the config file but nothing happened at all. Nothing is actually loading.

Question 1...

If you mean how to get buildings that you've downloaded to show night lights, you'll need to get the BAT update from the official site.

Question 2...

To render a regular map in the game, you need to load the greyscale image file that came with the download when using alt+ctrl+shift+r, not the config file. More info here.

Thanks for the response guys. I was able to load the map successfully. When I go to install the B.A.T. program, it says I need Gmax and links me their site, problem is their site states that "As of October 6, 2005, Autodesk will no longer offer Gmax

I got Gmax from another site and everything is working. Thank you guys.
