I'd rather get a hundred thousand paper cuts on my face while failing to do a barrel roll than screw up the game.

I would rather let hamish catch me screwing up the game than have mankind not go back to the moon.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

I'd rather go on a date with Rosie O'Donell than watch Friends every day for the rest of my life.

I would rather watch reality TV for an hour than be lowered slowly into a pool of lava. And that's about the only thing worse than "reality" TV.

I'd rather be stuck in a room listening to the Safty Dance for 2 month(es) than gouge out my eyeballs with a rusty screwdriver.

I'd rather gouge out my eyeballs with a rusty screwdriver than have an eagle eat my liver during the day, then have it regenerate at night, and have the entire process repeated ad infinitum a la Prometheus.

I'd rather watch my 600lb female neighbour do the same than get slain by an angry hobbit with a dagger.

I'd rather get slain by a drunk hobbit with a bottle of diet coke & mentos than lose my hard drive to an internal meltdown of my computer.

I'd rather lose my hard drive to an internal meltdown of my computer then have someone hit me on the back of the head with a brick, riverdance on my head, and then run away with my wallet.

Yes, this is kitty.
