Cookbook needed...help !

I have many Macs (including a mini, small pun , sorry) My least powerful Mac is the G4 tower I'm using now. I have been playing Sim City 4 Rush Hour for a lot of years. I then ran into Simtropolis. I have downloaded and installed the Binary Update from Aspyr which installed easily and then I downloaded the NAM for Mac from Simtropolis and I have been trying desperately to figure out just where all those files are supposed to go. I'm not stupid but the install instructions for the NAM on Mac were confusing. I wound up putting everything but the Left Hand Drive version in the User/Documents/Simcity4/Plugins folder. Including the "Plugin" folder that came with the NAM. I don't believe this was correct Sim City still runs and well but I still don't think I was correct. I really need a cookbook version on how to do this..can you point me in the right direction? Anyone? Gnat

Im not sure what you mean by cookbook, but read the read me that was included in the download because there are some files that wont work if you just put the whole download into your plug-ins (they need to be installed separately)

First, if you are playing Sim City on a G4 tower, the binary update will be at the least useless for you. It is only necessary for Macs with an Intel processor. Now, about the NAM, if you put "everything" but the Left hand drive files into your plugins, you did it wrong. Tbh, while the installation instructions are long, they are not very complicated and are the "cookbook" that you are looking for. Read the file titled Installation Instructions, and go through the list in section 5 piece by piece, moving the files as you read them.

Thank you for your help! I will go back through the instuctions again. I have 5 Intel Macs. 2, 22 inch IMacs, 2 Mac Minis, 1 14" MacBook. The G4 is my old old standby. Gnat
