Mafia Game- The Quick Guide

As you requested here is your quick guide on how to play mafia this time in the NDEX pro-understanding campaign . Each game will consist of 15 players. To play simply sign up for the next game in this thread. Games normally include *4 Mafia 1 **Inspector ***1 Angel and ****9 Civilians. Games will be held in a seperate thread.

*Mafia- The guilty guys. Can communicate at all times with fellow mafia members. At night they all decide in one on one person who should be killed, they send me the name through PM.

 

**Inspector- Every night can ask me a name as a mafia. If the answer is yes so I reply with a yes if not so no reply. Any info the inspector gets is his own and he can identify himself as inspector with the info. There is nothing preventing a false Inspector from claiming this status. Inspectors are innocent.

***Angel- Every night gives me a name and that name is protected from death. An angel can't protect himself. Angels are innocent.

****Civilian- Powerless innocent person.

How Does The Game Work?

So now that you know what the roles are lets move on. The game is built out of two groups- Innocent and Guilty. I send out via PM to all 15 players thier role for that game and we begin.

Night- Each round starts at night. Players are not allowed to hold private conversation about the game at any time during the night through PM, Chat, MSN the thread or any other way*. All roles will be allowed to use their powers as said before. All actions will be recorded by myself. Finally I end the night mode.

*Mafia members can talk freely. A player who violates the rules will be eliminated maybe from the game for good.

Day- I annouce day. Conversations may continue. All deaths will be announced and if the dead was innocent/guilty. Failed murders and inspection results are not noted in any way. Dead players are eliminated from the game.  Now any player may accuse another player (with reason) for being mafia. Then the accused person is given an opportunity to give a defense. After that a vote starts with my annoucment (Yes/No)*. Votes can be changed at any time untill the final choice has been made. If the majority of the living players vote to convict the player on trial, he is lynched and dies if not he lives. Votes will be closed if more than 50% havn't voted. Players may also vote at any time to call it a day and end a round.

*Votes may only start after a defence has been said and my announcment is made.

Goal- The goal is simple. Innocent win if they eliminate all guilty players. Guilty win if they are no longer outnumbered by innocent players.

Points- Points are given to each player of the game for each round he makes alive (Night & Day) Once eliminated a player recieves no more points. A group (Innocent/Guilty) who wins, all live members of that group recieve 2 points. After each game the players points get added up to an overall one. The person with the most points can call himself champion

Other Info- Please if you decide to play make sure you can make a daily visit. A person who hasn't been active in 72 hours (3 days) will be replaced by a member on the waiting list. Please do not cheat. The game is here for the best of fun so keep it cool and follow the rules.

Well I personally feel this isn't moving to quickly IMO the cause is the fright of the first LONG post. Think I should make a quick simple and easy guide in edition?

Hmm..interesting.
Anyway, yes, the NDEX pro-learning reading and understanding campaign will contribute more funds, if more people participate.
