Lots that go down under

I'll keep it simple: How do you create a lot that will go under things such as Highways, El-rail, etc.?

Two methods: one is to create overhanging props. The other method involves the lot editor, and switching lots; though I'm unsure of the exact details or where to find it.

Pretty much what I was wanting to do is make a simple 1x1 lot with just a texture on it and make it a park or something.

i think if u make the texture a prop and let it over hang an extra square in the lot editor, that should work.

Based on the fact that you have absolutely no idea what you're doing, I don't think you're in the position to be calling any method or suggestion a "cheap shortcut."

There is no way to make a 1x1 lot that will go under any elevated transportation, unless the lot is a transportation network, and then there are different caveats involved.

I swear I've seen it before... meh, it was probably something else. Oh well.

I guess I'll have to do overhanging anyway.
