I installed gmax and then installed SC4 B.A.T...When i click on the SC4 B.A.T I get this message. {GMAXLOC Environment Variable cannot be found}..How do i fix this..Thanks..

    1. Right click on Computer and open System Properties.
    2. Click on Advanced Tab.
    3. Click on Environment Variables button.
    4. If you can see a variable named GMAXLOC, make sure it points to the folder where your copy of gmax is installed.
    5. Otherwise, click on New under the System Variables list.
    6. In the Edit System Variable dialog box enter GMAXLOC in the Variable Name and the path to gmax in the Variable Value.
    This should certainly fix it. Cheers.

    Welcome To Simtropolis

    The only way i found to fix that was to reinstall gmax.

    (posted late-well if needed try what i wrote above)

    I'm having this problem too. The variable is pointing to the right place, and I reinstalled gmax...it's still not working. Is it time to blame Vista again?

    Oh yes, let's blame everything on Vista. It's such a terrible operating system, everything that goes wrong is obviously it's fault. 3.gif

    Did you try running the BAT as an administrator (right click, select Run as administrator).
