Your region is TIGHT!!! How'd you get such a wide zoom on the region like that?

Wow! I remember when I was on vacation we went to San diego, and the one thing my parents hated a lot was the lack of good parking, but hey I didn't mind, i wasn't paying3.gif

If anyone here has to really park in San Diego, the trick is to find a residential area near where you want to go, and be willing to walk 1/4 mile from your car.  I pay for parking maybe twice a month, and I drive 2000 miles/mo in SD...  19.gif

I don't know if anyone still looks at this but it is absolutely amazing.  I can't believe you could make S.D. so exact and not even live here.  I used to work at Fashion Valley so it was cool seeing it on there.

Hey I have been to San Diego a few times, and I have to say you have made it look incredible. Congrats. One question will you be including areas like Solana Beach, and Del Mar Raceway? My company is in Solana Beach, and I absolutely love it!

put it on your hard drive, then do Ctrl+Shift+Alt+R while in the game, and it will bring up a menu, then locate the file, click it, and then click ok, it will take awhile depending on the speed of your computer and the size of the map, be sure you are not running any anti-virus or antispyware programs, or anyother programs like outlook, IE, and yahoo that might screw it up.

For buildings you place the .sc4lot, .sc4desc, .sc4model, or .dat file into the My Documents/Simcity 4/Plugins folder. (Place all the files that have one of the extensions that I listed in the plugins folder, or inside of a folder that is in the plugins folder.)

If the files is a .exe, just run it and it will install the building for you.

For the .zip files that they usually come in, use winzip to extract the stuff inside of it so you can get at it.

The config.bmp file in the region folder of the region you are trying to render is the wrong size. It needs to be 32x64 pixels, currently it is 15x15 pixels.

Welcome to Simtropolis. Hope you enjoy your stay.

This is in the wrong thread. This is a CJ: CityJournal.

Next time post in Mapping Community Board Room

May are suggest you also have a look in the New Member Information .
To your problem, It sounds like your are missing the config.bmp or an incorrect one.

You can make a new one with the Landscapedesigner which are found on ST EXchange (STEX) found in the menu on the left.

TO EVERYBODY: This CJ, has been dead for a long time. (Check out the date.49.gif Last post by the owner of this thread has not post at Simtropolis since 2/27/2005 and his last post in the CJ was more than a year ago: 7/11/2004.)

SO PLEASE do NOT retreiv old dead threads. Please just let it dead.26.gif
