Hello all and welcome to Alasmaira where we drive real slow in the fast lane and coast through life, because your future is whatever you make it, so make it a good one.

I'd like to start off by saying. I use a lot of mods and addons with SC4 and can't remember all of them so if i dont mention 1 that you made or helped make, please dont think im ignoring all that great work and hard effort.

We start off by entering Materson Island West either via rail or road. if you're arriving by rail you are now crossing the Jefferson Bridge over the Dire Straight if by road then you are coming over the Dire Straights Memorial Bridge.

If you are looking for a legal battle from your spouse or just curious about residency then look no further than Manny I.C. Depression Court House and commerece building. right across form MIW City Hall

The Barker Marriot Hotel and Casino is a great place to relax in one of our Luxurious Suites or win big from one of over 2000 slots or 500 tables.

Or take a cruise to any port through out Sim Nation from Coal Point. while you're waiting stay at 1 of 5, 6-Star hotels.

Great since you're here you should check out that amazing fair we have this year, we just had ZZ Top and Megadeth last night playing here last night and tonighte we have Toby Keith and Fleetwood Mac.

yay finally the first cj ive seen with a city layout like mine and overlay textures disapeared from original simcity 4 lots lol... but yea i think its really well...

unlike you i cant help download too many buildings so i never get them all lol but yea once again its a great cj keep it up

oh right what i meant by that is like all ur roads are east to west and north south with a few diagonal roads highways etc. but also u need more trees in ur actually city it makes it look dull without trees but trees like in houses and buildings rather than just near the highway or edges of land and region uno.

also i just realized but not all ur buildings have the overlay textures problem

Not a bad start, though I wouls have to agree about what has been said already. Im not as concerned with the cusom content as much as I am with filling in those blank, dull, undeveloped areas. And you might have to ask around about that texture problem, overlays are being lazy it looks like =P

Anyway, good job and keep working with it. I only update my cj when every last OCD spawned detail the comes to mind makes it into the city, and that takes a LOOONG time. So dont be afraid to go back and work some more.

Smarty218: Yeah I have been kinda stingy on the custom content but only because I have 2 other big games installed on my computer 1 im getting rid of after work today the other I cant live without. needless to say both take up a lot of space.

hunkske: thanks, although Im not sure which downtown area you're talking about, but I also dont remember which one the pic was showing.

fabsies55: Im usually not one to put in trees in to the sims' yards but i tried a bit of it and hopefully you'll see some of that in my update.

SimHoTToDDy: ya know Ive been wondering about why those textures dont show up. and the reason for most of the undeveloped areas is that either 1. they are in the zoning process 2. places that im still trying to decide what to put there or 3. just empty because i want to go for the pristine forest with the city build around it. but I do see what you're talking about, anyway thanks for the comment.

WELCOME BACK, I CAN SEE YOU'RE STARTING TO LIKE IT HERE; WELL COME ON IN DONT BE SHY WE GOT PLENTY A' ROOM.

OOPS!!

I accedentally demolished the first bridge but i like this new bridge better i hope you like it too.

Well I the citizens decided that they were fed up with all the lost luggage and messy bathrooms so I issued to buid a new airport.

I was in a distaster mood and tryied to make the gods put in a volcano but they only replied with this hill and a tack in my chair. so now we send the criminals up there with only a sack lunch and a soap on a rope then we filled the lake with piranahs, so far it's worked crime rates droped 63% last month and police city-wide are looking for spare change to go to the finished Mark Marv And Pablo (MAPP) theme park.

Welcome to Mark Marv And Pablo Theme Park just remember, dont eat before the rollercoasters.

But for the golfers theres Par Fore Golf Club, just try not to hit any birdies

and for the kiddies a trip to Cee Monkey's Aqua Cove.

well everybody, work is calling this slacker but its what keeps this city from falling apart; so comback theres always something new to be seen in beautiful Alasmaira.....

Very nice! I like the name. I like the small pockets of dense...ness(?) in your city. That theme park is an excellent idea! I've never seen one before! *runs to the Stex to go on a spree*

psander5: Thank you i just stopped over at your CJ before i came to do the update. im surprised that you havent seen a theme park in anybody's CJ if you having problems fining anything for it, its in the STEX look for either amusement or MAPP

Schulmanator: Thanx for coming back its always great to hear from anybody as well known on ST as you are, im not sure how much good i would be as the commissioner might be too much stress in that big of a region; but thanks for offering.

W-w-what who is that *peers around top of desk* Oh its you. Welcome back i see you've changed your clothes and by the looks of you, ya' bought that outfit at on of our fine retailers here in Alasmaira's capitol of Materson Island West; well good for you - it looks like a great fit.

Since the last time you were here my board members and I have been very busy. we have new additions to the downtown area and FINALY got somone to fill the night shift job and i got to tell you she's a great photographer get some real nice shots of the region's capitol at night.

*beautiful lady walks in* Ahh Lexy you're just in time our guests have arrived let's see those snap shots I've been hearing about so much.

WOW!! thats a great shot of Milton Space Needle and North Downtown.

*Lexy points to a mansion with a pool* "I can see my house from here".

We should use some of these shots in a brochure for the city to help attract tourism dollars, dont you agree, ater all you are the guest.

*looking puzzled*

Lexy were did you become such a great photographer you grabed the Madison Convention Center the River Rail Loop Station and Galler Noir all in 1 shot ???

And just look at that picture with I-209 ( or as the locals call it ) Titan Loop being split by Downtown into TL north and TL South.

Well lexy you've done a fantastic job you're free to leave if you'd like or stick around for the morning breakfast for all emplyees in the building.

Now after all that, tell me, wouldn't you like to be a citizen in MIW.

Nice update. The CBD looks good. Lots of iconic towers. Lexy must be one tall girl to get all those high shots... or maybe she was in a helicopter... yes that sounds more likely! Nice touch

jacqulina: your very welcome and thank you once again.

Mother of Invention: Yeah i was trying to get them close to the airport with as little commute time as possible yet also trying not to get them at the end of the runways, that wound look too good in the papers Alasmaira Capitol Attacked By Own Pilots - - What sick mayor approved building hotels in flight path.

psander5: yeah we had to lop off a few 100 feet of her legs after she took those shots so we didnt have people calling in about a sea monster attacking the city.

Ok people no story for this update just random pictures of 3 new cities starting off with Glistening Cove heading east from Matterson Island West where the Titan Loop ends and also meets with Bi-way 101 and then its on south to Divinity Bay along I-135 all the way to Michelob ( pronounced Mike Lobb) Beacon.... now to the pics
