wallasey - Well congrats on your 200th post, even though I'm pretty late. 14.gif I'm so glad to read you are really enjoying this City Journal of San Francisco - Bay Area. Ahh... That fog. You know what I'll have to do a little foggy seen pretty soon I guess. Everyone really does enjoy it. Those suburbs are a grand, glad you liked them. I'll have to do a little tutorial on this. Since everyone really do like my idea. Gascooker's row homes are amazing. I really love these because these are the types that are seen in S.F. Thanks for your comments and thank you for your greatest support, thanks for the congrats! It's been a great three months Let's see how this month goes. Doesn't look like it's doing that well. But we will see.2.gif  Enjoy!10.gif

    Lincoln Park

This is Lincoln Park an extraordinary yet very large combination of parkland and natural areas around dramatic coastal cliffs. The cliff area runs between the Cliff House and the Seacliff District and is perhaps the most beautiful intrepidly explorable area in the city. The undeveloped spaces that fall between the golf course are greatly wonderful, with views that will keep you staring. There are many wonderful trails around Lincoln Park, but you can also simply just take the golf trails which are mostly just cement for the golf cart's. You can also see The Legion of Honor, which is another great place it will be more detailed in information as time comes.
Firstly I found a Aerial View

NOTE: I used the resort hotel (by Simgoober ) in the middle. If you think there is something else that I could use please do post it. I don't find that complete with that one. But I thought i'll just do. So anyone have any suggestion plese do post away!

That's quite a site for a golf course.  Not many average Joes play there, I bet.
Your rowhouse neighborhoods are great (they look very natural).10.gif

    Mexicanboy,

Very, very cool.  That's an accurate recreation of Lincoln Park (and I think that SG's resort hotel goes nicely with the surrounding landscape.)  I don't know where to begin... the golf course, the coast, the winding roads, the whole area...  It's all outstanding.

    Great work!

I work for the US Army. I go places, visit mean people, and kill them.

Winston Churchill is generall credited for saying something to the effect of: "People sleep soundly in their beds because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf". That about sums up my life, besides the "rough men" part.

That's a wonderful update Mex. I don't know if I told you before, but I really like that you mix up RL photos with in-game screenshots. The coastline looks quite natural, also the forest. I like your use of the dirt tracks (which is always good, because I love the dirt track lots...). I have no idea what you can use instead of the SG Resort Hotel, though (Do you have by any chance a RL photo of that area?).

To summarize your work after 25 pages: Great job, man!

    - Phil

Man, I would love to get in 18 holes at that course.  The view would be stunning.  Great job with the re-creation of the area MB.  I always enjoy your mix of real world pics and in game pics.  It helps to bring the San Francisco area to life for someone like myself who has never been.

mengo76 - Hey, Welcome! I hope you do enjoy ST (Simtropolis). Glad you like my City Journal. I'm not going to go to downtown just yet. I'll be awhile. But I tell ya it's well worth the wait! Please do enjoy these updates as they do come a long. Hope to see you around very soon!

Fleet Week --San Francisco - Oct 11-12 8-9th (sorry about that!)

San Francisco fleet Week air Show! This completely special Airshow takes place each year over the bay of San Francisco, between that golden gate bridge and the famous-prison island Alcatraz. Like the name of the meeting is in the framework the fleet Week already says also ships of the U.S. To see Navy fleet, which can be by the way also visited. All this makes the fleet Week air Show in San Francisco an ideal meeting for airplane fans, that want to connect a normal sick leave with many inspection and purchase possibilities in a beautiful city with the attendance of a large Airshow before breath-robbing window blind. A further large advantage is the proximity of the Air show breech's to the city center of San Francisco. Who finds accommodation for example in one of the many hotels in the Fisherman's Wharf range, which can go comfortably in few minutes to foot to the Airshow to the Waterfront! There are by the way also many Airshow souvenir stands.

When they go through downtown the noice so SO LOUD. I hated it when I was living over there.

    Enjoy!

You're making a very convincing argument for tourism to San Francisco, MB.  I hope that RL doesn't consume you too much... but it looks like you've taken time to enjoy Fleet Week.  Again, thanks for sharing.
