This is the country of

NJ.jpg

It is a fictional region using the map of all of New Jersey.

I have a few preview pictures from Madison County in southern New Jersey.

As a person who currently lives in (south) Jersey, I am excited to see a CJ with New Jersey in it! Oh, here is a favorite saying for the "Garden State" that I find quite true:

"New Jersey, where the weak are killed and eaten"

Yep, that about sums it up... Have a good one!

A very promising start. I am eager to see your version of Hunterdon County. I have family there.

Wow, very interesting and lifelike! I like it!

One quick tip: try to smoothen your road in hilly sections. In picture 5, the roads look a bit bumpy. Adding a smooth slope will make it much more realistic!

Best,

-Haljackey

Nice start to your new CJ! The building variety is good (like most of your cities) and the parking lot in the W2W area is a nice addition. However, I'd suggest using a bit less avenues and roads, and instead use some streets now and then, especially in the suburban locations. 2.gif

Hello and welcome to the country of

    NJ.jpg

Thank you all for your kind comments. I have read them and have taken your advice, which you will see very soon, I hope.

    yesofcourseisee.jpg

jjune4991-Thank you. The pool and homes are made by SimGoober.

Explodingsims-The houses are not only from SimGoober, but Matt325 aswell. You can find them on the Stex here, or on the LEX.

SimHottoDDy-Being a former resident of the "Great Garden State" I have not heard a more true quote.

Schulmanator-I had family there aswell. Until they moved of course. Thanks for the support.

coolotter88-I will certainly not for get that. Thanks!

Nexis-I welcome any competition, Nexis! Thanks for stopping by.

haljackey-Thanks for the tip. The map came very hilly, so I have been having a hard time flattening the land for most road networks.

kyx72x-You do not know how many buildings I have bulldozed to keep my variety in buildings up. Thank you for the advice.

edmonton_stinks-I like that you have shown me support in every CJ I start. Thanks!

Wrightguy0-That is what my nieghborhood looked like when I lived in Jersey. Thanks!

    nihonkaranws-Thank you!

    djlee1999-Thanks!

I figured I'd throw you guys a bone to gnaw on while I prepare for the first update.

    Enjoy!

The teaser looks nice, except for the crummy walkups next to the palacial residences. It's just not realistic, people!

    I also like the train.

Now I KNOW that's not right! The highrises look good, and I'm sure the area will be great once it's filled in, but it looks kind of odd where the highrises just taper off into nothing. On a sidenote, I like your forests and terrain, and I look forward to seeing them in future suburban updates.

    ...Not Again...

For some odd reason, while I was saving my game, my computer shut off, and when I restarded everything madison county was a blank terrain square.

This is all I could scrounge up that worked.

Nice, very nice. I can't seem to tap my finger on it, but this CJ has a different sort of vibe in the pictures. Maybe its the colors you use, idk. It is definitely a good thing though!
