Welcome to my first cj.  This region will display the many different styles of simcity 4 from sprawling surburbias to giant Metroplises.

The first city I am working on is Nixa a surburban jungle based off the city in which I live.

I am using a couple cheats

-the money tree

-howdryiam(free agua)

Also almost all top 50 of the mods are present in this city.  The water color is Pegasuses "clipper water".

Ahhh central park.  Peg trails, BSC trails, Peg streams and ponds.

The mall. . . an iconic image of the average surburbia.

Bad planning on the mayor's part has made a disaster

What would we do without mods and cheats?

All is well in Nixa

If there is an easy alternative why not take advantage of it?

Nixa Sims love worshiping Jesus in Simgoober's Large Brick Church.

Great pictures, I like the suburban feel and nice choice of BATS. Reminds me of my home town. Anyway,v convert your images to JPG;s - they load faster and IE people can see them.

Dr. Vu attacks



Dr. Vu is planning to build a fortress and prepare his army to take over Nacholand starting with Nixa.

He selected a small Isthmus on the edge of town and began constucting his army.  Dr. Vu, pointing a gun at mayor Austin Randolph forces him to tell the residents of Nixa this is just a new area that will develop more housing.



Construction Begins



The fortress is complete on schedule and Dr. Vu is ready to put his plans in action.

Dr. Vu sends out UFOs to destroy the indstrial sector



Tanks level a new subdivision



Dr. Vu makes a deal with his distant relatives and orders a UFO attack on the mall. The mall, costco, and many homes are destroyed.




The aliens finally came to their senses and realized that they didn't have to listen to Vu so they destroyed his fortress.






Nixa wakes up to find destruction but they pull together and rebuild the city

Unluckly after finishing update 3 the site went down so my update was never posted.

It took a lot of work but here is update 3. . .

There is a surprising lack of flora in the negative space of the city so I started work on a forest using JRJ Seasonal trees.

Next a Curvy road was built through the forest to accomodate future construction.

Petrolium prices skyrocket in Nixa and angry citizens riot at the oil refineries causing massive destruction as a result the demand for industry is crippled and many buildings begin to abandon.

Lack of fire protection has caused a massive fire in the industrial sector

The citizens of Nixa clean up the mess and prepare for commercial development

Construction begins with a hard rock cafe

An Embassy suites hotel is built, along with Dick's sporting goods, PEG's Subterranean mall, and many other department stores

Development on that area. . .

A new area along the waterfront

Another area is built including a small residential subdivision

Finally the commercial district is near completion.

WHERE IS EVERYONE? update 4 tommorow. Nixa will be completed in 3 updates and I need recommendations for the next type of city I am going to create. I might go with Jacky's suggestion but I am not entirely sure
