Hi, Namesys! 1.gif

Do you get the same problem when you try to open a 'striped' city? Could just be a graphics glitch, I wouldn't worry about that. 2.gif

Hmm... I have this problem too. I believe the cause of it is large game resolutions.

Namesys: What resolution is SC4 running on your computer? Mine is 1920x1200. If you have something close to this this may be why.

Running the same resolution here, and I have the exact same problem so it must be that.

    hy guys.

    I run on 1600x1200.

The strange part is... it didn't happend before on the same resolution. It started occuring just now. And i'm playing this game more than 2 years now.

oh yes, and reopening the city doesn't help it at all.

The same problem with other resolutions, but still i would mind playing on lower resolutions just because I don't have a bad computer to be forced to play on the lower.

    Thanks for any further advice.

I don't remember exactly, but what little I do recall... it has something to do with rendering a region in-game with a high or custom resolution... or something like that. Aside from being ugly, it has no functional effect on the game. You could try to re-render it with the game running at a standard resolution (you'll have to backup and re-import the developed cities). Again I'm not 100% sure if this is what caused your issue, but I do recall seeing it myself before and since, as a rule if I render a new region, I always use a standard resolution e.g. 1024x768.

Yes or smaller.. if you want reliable saves.. when this game was released 600x800 was the norm

it's annoying but has no big impact on gameplay. if you want to take screenshots of your region without the stripes, run the game at a lower resolution, open and save each affected region, and you should be fine.
