Regarding custom music

I saw in the options menu that you can check check box that says "custom music". what kind of custom music are they talking about, and how come it won't let me actually check the check box?

Its talking about songs from iTunes. I assume you have iTunes so try making a playlist with the title Simcity 4 or something like that. Put music in it and see if it works.

There's a folder called "Radio" in the Data folder, which has a couple of folders with the game's music files. You can put more mp3 files in those folders, and then checking "custom music" have those songs play as well.

I was trying to find a folder labeled something that would make sense, i overlooked radio though.

Also, if you startup holding command(Apple) or Option, a window will pop up allowing you to just use iTunes and that will totally bypass the built in music.

Option = Alt

Command/Apple = Windows key, except for commands, then it is like control.
