Is there ANY way i can use the BAT without SC4 installed?

of course you can use the BAT without SC4... only thing is that it's completely useless cuz BAT does nothing other than rendering models you created with gmax in a way that SC4 can handle them as building, props, whatever.

This fact given, you don't need no BAT when you don't use SC4. simply use gmax instead.

on the other hand, the Lot-Editor won't work properly without SC4, neither it would make sense to be runned without SC4, just like the BAT

You can model and texture on a computer that doesn't have SC4 installed. The only thing you need SC4 and LE for is the export process.

Hi everybody, I would like to create a more realistic european highway in one of my cities.

as you see from tha picture my highway is like(1). but Iwould like to create a divider like (2) th problem is I cannot put the concrete wall props so far from the rear grass tiles and I cannot create a lot with RHW.

Any suggestions....

without the BAT, how do i render it to a SC4 file??

afaik, you need the bat to render the buildings so sc4 can handle them.

and then you need the plugin manager and the lot editor to actually make a building for sc4

you can get the bat, the pm and the le over at the simcity4 website or at simcity4devotion...

you need to register on both sides...
