This is my first CJ, I do have some experience with simcity 4, but you can't compare it with the other CJ's you'll find here, to low for that, So I hope I will improve during this CJ. Although I work on it with pleasure, and I hope you will enjoy it as well as I did.

Oke, this CJ isn't based on any real places. It is just my own imagination.

I use:

-Simoleon mod, 21.gif

-NAM44.gif

-And of course a lot of custom content, which I'm very glad people uploaded so many cool things Thx!36.gif

I'm first going to show a bit of Cuijk's history, this will contain 1 update.

After that we're taking a look at the expansion. But you'll see that in the next update.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you'll enjoy this CJ.

Here you see the local church and a few shops, which are essential for the people in this town.

foto12yh5.jpg

Some blocks with houses build in 1886

foto13xj9.jpg

From another angle. You'll notice the dead tree at the cemetery.

foto14de4.jpg

There is only one farm located in Cuijk it's a small one owned by one of the richest people in town.

foto15uz1.jpg

Here there is a better view over the town.

foto16bu6.jpg

And another view of the farm.

I'm sorry I don't know much to say by every picture15.gif

Next update: Changes of Cuijk!

Thanks for visiting.

algis242: Welcome, I'll do my best to make it as interesting as possible, Thanks for your comment 1.gif

jacqulina: Glad you visited my CJ2.gif I hope you'll still like it, when my city, and this topic is getting larger 9.gif

After we've seen a small bit of Cuijk in the past, I'm going to show you the changes, in later updates I'm going to show more development in this city.

    update1vf7.jpg

As you can see, the biggest part of Cuijk is changed. Althought the farm is still located at the same place.

    foto1ca6.jpg

Here you can see another part of the main road, for fast travelling through this small town.

    foto2hd1.jpg

This is a better view of the old farm. Also the watertower is part of the picture,This watertower has been in use for a very long time.

    foto3gf3.jpg

As you can see the only part which is left from the past, is where the church and the old shops are located. Everything else has been destroyed, and is

completely rebuilt with modern housing. There is also a forest located in the middle of the neighbourhood, it is protected, but they don't know for how long

because they're saying that this is the perfect location for a small CBD.

    foto4my8.jpg

Here is a better view on the church, as you can see there a some houses left, they are protected so it won't be destroyed.

    foto5jk6.jpg

This is everything left, of the historic part near the farm. Every single house is destroyed apart of this old building.

Nice work, this looks very good. I really like how you have gotten Cycledogg trees, it will already help your CJ stand out from all the others, and it is what caught my eye for sure. I really liked your first main picture in the second update, it showed maxis at one of its best.

    teaser1ra3.jpg

I know it is pretty fast, but I've been busy with my city for a long time today and as I promised in the last update I would start a small CBD.

Well, they finally decided to start the CBD at the place where the (protected forest) "was" located. After long negotiations, they bought the forest

(yes, they bought it17.gif) for a large amount of money.  So this is the place where it's gonna be build.

    foto6ip3.jpg

As you can see there will be a major road connecting the 2 sides, so there will be more capacity when the CBD is build.

You can see the forest at the 4th picture of the first update.

I will answer the comments tomorrow, when my new update is coming (as well for me earlier than i thought)3.gif

    More and better pictures tomorrow.

Great pics. Although, I think that R$ homes shouldn't are located near huge mansions. Nice CJ. 2.gif

    update2la0.jpg

As I promised in the last "teaser", I've been busy with a small CBD in Cuijk. Well after some planning where to build it and spending some money on buying the forest

I finally started the development of the CBD. It worked out pretty well. See for yourself!3.gif

Very nice. The maxis looks good. It doesnt look Yikky. It looks nice and appropriate for the setting. Also I love CP's trees. They make the Cj look worthwhile.
