8000 people in a city with skyscrapers...?

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!! 18.gif18.gif

    (Now my brain hurts) 14.gifquote>

That's not all. The "high capacity" skyscrapers employ a maximum of 40 people! How cool is that!?

You really are inspired by a lot of different things, I like that. 3.gif

Nice shots of your SCS city. I really like the look of those B&W pictures. Too bad there isn't more traffic, though! SC4 has way more traffic. A dream Sim City game for me would have nearly every car ever made in the game. 9.gif I can't wait to see more!

SCS is a good game, and I appreciate people who make a CJ with it. Excellent pics with beautiful colours.

Oh man! Imageshack is acting up again... I guess I'll have to upload my pictures on Photobucket for now. That image hosting site would've been great if it weren't for the freakin' upload limit. Just too bad.

    Anyway, on with the update.

Downtown Frack viewed from across town.

    Frack_01.jpg

Some afternoon pics of the city.

    Frack_02.jpg

How's the view up there, window cleaner guy?

    Frack_03.jpg

The textures of this brick building look good for SCS, in my humble opinion. The other buildings could have been a lot better though.

    Frack_04.jpg

    More golden pictures for ya.

    Frack_05.jpg

    Frack_06.jpg

... and closing with two more pictures.

    Frack_07.jpg

    Frack_08.jpg

Well what do you know, I'm tired of the game already. I guess SCS was really meant for casual players. Don't worry I'm not abandoning this CJ just yet. I still have one more update before I move on to another city. Besides, I do have fun taking the screenshots.

Mike the Mayor: Thank you. It's just my way of getting around SCS's kiddy look.

    Patricius Maximus:

I hate to say it, but SCS looks better in the shadows...quote>

Exactly... except maybe for sunsets. Thanks.

nihonkaranws: Yup, that's the theme. Thanks.

    estepaflip: Thank you igan!

ilikehotdogsalot: Yes, yes it is 38.gif

Jill Jacobs: Custom content? None so far. Thanks for the compliment.

    porter66083 and Simfan34:

You made SCS look good. That in it's self is a feat of untold proportions!quote>

You bet it is! And to think other people with better PC's can do better still. Thanks guys.

offamychain: That's exactly it. The name fits perfectly. Thanks for dropping by.

    Patricius Maximus:

I agree. Although in daylight lighting it looks like it's in flourescent lights.quote>

Exactly, again! That's why I show more of the "golden" pictures when in color and decolorize the really bad daylight ones.

doodlea21: Hard to believe huh? That's corporate desperation for you.

Callbat: That part of London must be very nice then. Thanks.

Wow, maybe I should buy SCS?quote>

    Oh quit it! 21.gif

lucky7: Oh I'm not offended at all. In fact, I find it gratifying to have someone who doesn't really like the game to give positive feedback like that. Thank you very much.

Shingure: Watch as much as you like. Thanks.

RJN: Agreed also (except for the brain hurts part).

    MrCinatit:

With the mist from the fountains (I assume), the shadowed figures and the dark look from the rooftop, this actually reminds me a lot of one of the maps from Thief 2.quote>

... which I understand is a game set during a medieval-like era? I can see why. thanks.

ilikehotdogsalot: Are you kidding me? That creation of yours was

Man, that first shot looks amazing! It has to be the most realistic SCS pic I've ever seen. Here's a few things that accounted for the sheer awesomeness of it: Its cool angle, the fact that it's in black & white instead of the unrealistic normal colors, and that particular district's distance from downtown Frack.

Hmmm... I'm not quite contented with the previous update so this will serve as a follow-up. I personally think that these next shots are better but I'll leave that to you to decide.

Window cleaner guy... again. I dunno why it's always that fancy-shmansy Board of Directors building.

    Frack_001.jpg

    Street view of downtown.

    Frack_002.jpg

    Big Brother is watching you...

    Frack_003.jpg

Another one of those random angle shots.

    Frack_004.jpg

Last and final picture of Frack.

    * TEASER*

Hold on there--there's more. The next update will be focusing on a new town which I named Chedo. Obviously it has an Asian culture thing going.

    Chedo_cheese.jpg

    Enjoy!

    comments2mh1.jpg

    gabry85: Thank you!

ky72x: Yeah. That particular angle made wonders for my screenshots. Thanks.

    s_olah: Thanks!

GMT: Thank you. What you said about the game is true. I started this CJ for its visual potential, not its gameplay.

Benedict: Well then thanks for visiting this particular SCS CJ.

KamiKaZantA: Golden showers eh... Thanks for visiting anyway.

    crazyarchitect: Thank you!

    Twenty20: Thanks!

Patricius Maximus: It does look unique from the other bridges. Thanks.

    B&W - Still my favorite. 9.gif

Too bad that we all have to leave Frack. But I'm sure the next city will tide us over long enough before you find those darn CD's. 3.gif

Well that sure took longer than I expected. Stupid internet company, mumble, mumble... Aheheheanyway, it's update time.

Yeesh. If those CD's won't turn up by the end of the month I'll go get a new copy.

    * CHEDO *

I really need to come up with better names... You know what, forget the statistics. I'll just describe the town plain out. Oh and this will be a one-time update for this city because the town is tiny compared to Frack (which was huge).

Chedo is a contemplatively-themed orientally-sided city located in a save folder in My Documents. With it being contemplative and all, you will observe people living in simplicity. Instead of malls and corporate skyscrapers run by materialistic people, these folks have monasteries, temples, and tea houses. Uber advanced technology is unheard of in Chedo with it's people believing that the higher power will provide for all their needs.

Not all townsfolk believe in the same higher power for their salvation and despite this, they still respect each other. You might see houses of worship dedicated to Jesus, the Jewish God, Allah, Buddha, and Tom Cruise, all of which could be found in Chedo.

Let's get on with the pictures.

    A typical morning in town.

    cheese01tr1.jpg

This tourist was kind enough to provide a photo.

    cheese02cm6.jpg

    Just peeking through an alleyway.

    cheese03kg6.jpg

Signature Chedo temples (I dunno which god they're dedicated to though)

    cheese04ag9.jpg

    Nightlife.

    cheese05iu0.jpg

And to conclude, big resolution pics coming up!

We'll move on to the Orwellian city of Der Iemmoc... Yes, that's its name. If you have trouble pronouncing it, say its name backwards. It's easier.

Benedict: Thanks. Maybe a 50's art gallery.

    toki.s: Thank you very much.

Callbat: Oh you are very welcome.

ky72x: Yeah I know. In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed this update. Thanks.

crazyarchitect: Thank you. Here's the masterpiece.

    collgab: Thank you!
