wgb24, its available here:

http://www.freewebs.com/gstommylee/ATL_Beta_01.zip

just download that, and copy the RIGHT DRIVE or something of the like to your plugins folder, dont copy the left drive file, unless you want to watch the cars drive randomly all over the game...kinda like screamomatic has goin on :D

and i know its gettin old, but is ANYONE still working on this? its been another month since i posted last...whats going on? this was a good mod...if i knew how to do it, i totally would...can someone update us on its status?

thanks!

I tested it in game play, but I noticed is that nobody uses that lane to turn left.

And I was wonder to why you can only have left turn lane to Ave's and not to Roads/One Ways/Streets?

What has happened to this mod idea? Is there a possibility of this mod getting completed or has it just been dropped? I would like to know because I was looking forward to implementing this mod in my cities. I think it would give my avenues a more realistic look and function.

Will this version be released?

It would be perfect for European (non-UK) cities, and I rather do without the word 'ONLY' all over the turning lane, since my cities are not supposed to be English-speaking..

1.gif

this can be done. i never thought of the non-english-speaking cities 43.gif its something i can work on, making the appropriate texture DATs, if theres nothing else to be done right now, and if its okay to provide this
This looks great but why dont you just have one arrow per lane and put it in the middle of where the 2 are right now?42.gif

sorry for not putting it with my other one but i think it would look better if you just had the left turn arrow and not the others because your obviously going strait in the 2 lanes to the right and the right turn is accepted without an arrow.

i also agree, i think you only need on arrow pointing to the left. the others you really dont need....

I'd leave the arrows, it makes it better in the game itself, there are alot of places here in the states that use arrows  for all lanes. but that's just my opinion29.gif

IMO - It doesn't really matter what arrow configuration is used as long as this mod gets done. No matter what arrow combination is made, it will never statisfy everyone. I just can't wait for this mod to be completed with any logical arrow configuration. 35.gif

Ahhh... the ever persistent turning lanes 1.gif

Sorry I've been away for so long. I haven't forgotten about these, but I have to admit that the first time I started doing RULs for these, my brain hurt...I had to go to the hospital with an anurism...just kidding.

It was fairly challenging though. Perhaps when I get done with the roudabouts (like the pic posted 3 posts up from this one), I'll come back to this. I'm just trying to focus my time and effort so that I actually help something get done rather than dabble in 12 different things.

    btw t7t

for the traffic lights we may have to make a whole new prop or go back to what they were.

having a 2 light pole and 3 light pole don't mix with each other (unless its something do to with the codes)

I hope a NAM compatible version will be released soon. I will not be using it until then.
