you will need to redraw them out on each of the ave to ave straight cross intersections its not automatic

Wow! This release is awesome! I'm hooked :D.

The first screenshot I attached is one of my non-busy intersections...its working great.

The second one is a problem intersection I found. On the bottom there is no turn lane, obviously because of the attached road below it...however, now that stop light at the avenue going north is ALWAYS green...it never changes, and no cars use the turn lanes at that intersection at all. I removed the road that was intersecting the turn lane to the south, and rebuilt it, only so it didnt cross all the way, it only went halfway. Instead of working, it built over the turn lane, and again no cars will use it 7.gif...not sure what happened, or if this is intentional...its hard to explain.

Otherwise, I love it! Keep up the excellent work!

I made a brand new one, that wasnt the problem. But anyway I realized I needed to keep the required file from the last release so now it works... BUT the stoplights still only have 2 lights per side, and not three as expressed in your screen shot. Why is that? Also, some cars use the left turn lane and some dont.

in some situation there nto all 4 sides will have a turning lane (hence why there are only 2 traffic lights)

this intersection is extremely busy during rush hours. for some reason though, when the cars are coming back into town for the night, no car goes straight in the right/straight lane, they only use the straight only lane. is that supposed to happen right now? 1st: yeah, i understand that, but none of those cars in that first pic actually turned left...all of them went straight. what im wondering is how come they didnt use the right lane (straight/right turn) as well, instead of all piling up in the one lane? am i asking too much of it? lol i guess im expecting it to be like a real-life sorta thing...

2nd: whatever works, im glad you got this far with it...i couldnt do something like this...maybe double turn lanes in the future hahaha that'd be cool too...

How difficult would it be, to make it so the avenue ALWAYS has a turning lane on it? As I stated before, if someone wants a divided highway... or something that looks like the current avenue, all they have to do is stretch two one way roads going opposite directions next to eachother. So why not make the avenue a permanent five lane road? There are tons of roads like that in the US and it would add A LOT more realism to it. This is what I had been hoping for ever since I first heard of this mod, and I am sure most of the other Americans in this thread would agree with me 9.gif

its impossible to have all the intersections have a turn lane
with all intersections

there are certin issues that don't allow

1)it needs to be 3 or more tiles between
2)if there are other networks going over it (too much work to do imply that)
3)only the avenue to road, ave to ave and ave to one way can have turning lanes (roads to road and road to one way ( needs to be 2 tiles to work not 1)

looks cool! i liked i installed and then i uninstalled i am kinda overworried about the mods i put into my SC4 no offense. took me 6 months to trust NAM18.gif

It would be perfect for European (non-UK) cities, and I rather do without the word ONLY all over the turning lane, since my cities are not supposed to be English-speaking..

hey I know that you guys said that the turning lane project is not compatible for the NAM but I couldn't help but notice this:

I don't know if you guys have noticed this yet but if you look at the pictures from cooper.b near the top of the page the left turn signal isn't attached to anything, its just floating in midair.

I have some bad news. I was playing my game, and when I layed some avanue and made an intersection, the left lane was on the wrong side. So, well, uh, the cars still went onto the turing lane but it looked really funny. I think that might be a little bug or something, just wanted to let you know. Oh, and the texture for the lines and stuff was red? and the lights didn't show up, then again, it is only in testing. The bottom line........good, but needs worked on.44.gif
