That nearly happened to me before. This one super annoying 7th grader boy (I suspect he is gay since he acts like one) slammed my locker closed and my fingers were a few millimeters away from the locker door. Also, he repeatly act like mentaly ill person and try to get as close as possible to me.

As I have said, yes, I personally do not see a purpose for this thread on a Sim City fansite.  However, as hym has already stated, "ST is a community beyond just the common bond of city building", which I do agree with, and therefore justified.

Obviously, this thread does have a purpose since members are posting in it.   I already stated that I will not be a burden here and will allow you to post your stories without opposition.

But come on.  What you stated is uncalled for, especially since this is a thread about bullying.  I guess we just have two different opinions about it, which is perfectly understandable because we are two different people.  Please take that into consideration.

haljacky: okay, maybe it was a bit uncalled for. but so was you needlessly coming in here and telling all of these people who want to tell their stories that there is no point of it and that they dont belong here. There are plenty more absolutely pointless threads around here that i dont see you going in trying to kill. Its not even your decision anyway so you should have just minded your own business and stayed out of it. When you have a community so close as simtropolis i think it goes far beyond just a sim city 4 fansite. We have a group of dedicated mods around here to decide whats pointless and not and they will close threads where appropriate.

Mods, delete this post if you like or ban me, i just had to say something. I just dont think there is much need for that ignorance or thoughtlessness in a thread where people are sharing their difficult stories with everyone.

Honestly, I don't see where you are getting all that from.  I said that I will not be a burden here so why are you posting all this?

Please, I don't want an argument here, in fact, I don't think anyone wants one here.  I already stated that I will not be a burden so what more do you want from me?  I intend to "stay out" if no further comments are directed towards me.  I hope you see where I am coming from.

Yes, i do see where you are coming from and No, i don't want an argument. im just trying to figure out why you would even "ask" that in the first place. Im sure you know well enough that this thread serves some kind of purpose to the people who use it. I think we all have a right to talk about anything around here as long as it is in the appropriate section anyway and as far as I am concerned this is very appropriate. General Off Topic means just that, its a Non-SC4 related section.

Anyways, now that we have blown this out of proportion enough lets just set aside our differences and get back on topic.

WillG_75: That story is very similar to mine. When I used to get picked on I would always try to relieve myself by bullying other kids. I soon enough found out that it never worked and just minded my own business and suffered until the end of the year I get upset easily so i have come pretty close to getting into some pretty harsh fights. They stayed small though luckily and no harm was done.

To be honest Haljackey, by dismissing this thread, it makes me think that you're trying to rationalize your own bullying experiences, as being unimportant.

Anyway, I thought that I was bullied in elementary school, but you guys are way out of my league!  I was teased for speech problems and being unathletic, and being uncool in general, but still had my friends and stuff.  Middle school is when all (5, I think) of the elementary schools in the district combine into one middle school.  So it was a fresh start pretty much, and from then on I rarely got picked on.

Your guys' stories are really intense.  My advice would be to not get caught up in a cycle of being bullied and giving responses and getting bullied more, and also, to not think of yourselves as the bullied kids, because people will pick up on that and will bully you.  Instead, be happy with yourself and be confident.  Also, at my high school at least, occasionally after being picked on, someone would come up to them and basically tell them "you know, they pick on you because you do x", and it's probably true.  And also, be a good person all the way though, because no one will care what happens to you if you're a jerk too.  Sometimes that might be hard, but it's better to be the nice kid who gets picked on than the person who responds negatively to everyone, even people trying to be nice to you.
