Here's the obvious guess: British Airways.

Hurry up and tell me I'm wrong.

Neither are correct.

Hint:

Founded in the 1st half of the 20th Century it is also a European flag carrier.

Alright then...

I am an European carrier, operating only one aircraft version and I serve muffins for breakfast.

Who, you ask, would do such a thing?

    Sorry, no.

Ryanair doesn't serve you anything. The breakfast ting is actually a personal rant, but still might be a fairly good indicator if you have some European experience4.gif

    Nope, carry on guys...

However, a clue more: It's parent company's predecessor had a maitre d' cabine onboard its flights.

    Aw-right, let's sum up:

    Features of my company:

European, operates one aircraft version (if it had been the DC-9-30, they wouldn't have operated the 50-series), serves muffins for breakfast (as many as you can eat), flies to LCY.

It's not: Ryanair, Vueling (LCC's are cheap and would never give you an extra muffin even if they served), Air France (way too many aircraft types), VLM (good guess, but they serve a full breakfast).

Another one: Their current planes have 3+2 seating, but they're about to change planes.

No, you didn't, but you obviously didn't read any other posts (nor did you actually read about the conditions, as only one qualify).

Doesn't even have planes, says Wikipedia. Yet another one9.gif:Technically they're operating all their routes for their parent company, but the ordinary passenger will usually never notice this.

Air One? this is impossible. How we supposed to know if they serve a muffin or not especially since we never rode it or heard of it....

After doing further research I'll say BA City Flyer even though it is a subsidy of British Airways...
