    Hello to All!!

@Traffic_Jam: Thanks for your support old fellow! And As usual the first one! WOW! 2.gif

@HattonMonado: Thanks for the compliments! Now the answers to your questions:
Some years ago I had a perfect holiday in the village Trpanj on the peninsula Peljesac. If you travel on the main street from Split to Dubrovnik and you don't want to / are not able to transit Bosnia-Herzegovnia you have to take the ferry Ploce-Trpanj. Since this city map reminded me to the shape of Peljsac I named this town Ploce ... 10.gif
About the walls: I use Jeroni's wall a lot - ALL of them. The seawalls are his first wall set at all, they consist on many lots and are a bit tricky but in the long run they are worth the effort since they can be placed on sloped tiles. Then of course I use marrast's great seawalls too - had played my part in the developement thread of them ... 10.gif. IMHO they are an absolutely must-have! Then I have all PEG walls installed. The industrial ones are a musthave for any industrial harbours, he also added some nice stuff to the residential / commercials like firefighter boats etc. The RTK isn't used a lot by me recently. Finally I use some japanese ones - like the yellow one in the industrial spot at the railway bridge. Look here: Massive Giant Japanese BAT Gallery but begin at the end and go back
And the red trees are PEG's seasonal trees (a must-have) and ADC forrested tree mod - As I mentioned in my first post I love this mod!)
About the bridges over railways: Yes, they are the NAM. Since I developed this town before I installed the latest NAM you didn't saw much roundabouts. In my newer town that changed. Don't care what others are saying about the NAM with 512 mb RAM: Download and install it! You'll love it! 29.gif16.gif44.gif

@superchad: Thanks for the compliment! 10.gif

@Pinchman: You really tracked this CJ!!! 9.gif

    @Deathtoall: Actually: two times yes.

First: This is not (yet) the seaside but the riverside. And you may have guest it - with Renus I am quoting to the River Rhine, German: Rhein, French Le Rhin, Latin: Rhenus. The middle Rhine is quite famous for his landscape as there are mountains (or hills, not higher than appx. 300m whereas the Rhine is between 80 and 114m over sealeve there. It is one of Germany's most well known touristic areas (it is THAT beautiful, if you ever had a chance to sit in a train between Koblenz and Mainz and enjoy the scenery there you would know what I mean!29.gif). The villages and small towns there as Bacharach, Kaub, St. Goar etc are all stage 2-4 referring to SC4 stage levels.

Second: IRL Urland would be an area somewhere within Germany since I am German, or more esactly a german civil engineer. In Germany you can regulate quite strictly the developement of seddlements, by height, number of stories, even by the colour of the roofs (e.g. in some areas blue roofs are forbidden). Like it or not but these laws are a good instrument for keeping the character and shape of touristical villages and small towns for not becoming a touristic Bettenburg - this is how we Germans call places where there are more hotel beds than inhabitants and where the only skyscrapers are big hotels.

So yes, I kept it intentionally low rise. (long answer to a short question! like RL ...! 2.gif9.gif)

    @All: Have Fun!

    Nardo 44.gif

PS: WOW! The next post opens page 5 ... 18.gif

Great update. I partcularly like the beach area (those beaches, I gotta have them too 41.gif) and the town in general.

Ploce looks even more realistic at night. The picture 10.10 is my favorite. I don't know why, it just reminds me of something...

Hey Nardo, The beach area looks really cool.  Matter of fact, I think I am gonna head down for a little dip.  I also liked all the night shots.  Especially the one of the farming area with all the traffic going by.  Not sure why I like this one, hmmm, maybe it's just a farm thing.

Hi Nardo! Of course I tracked it, your CJ is one of my favorite. I just love farm citys (it's what I'm trying to do) and yours are very inspirational, you give me ideas. Everyday I go check your CJ and I dont have time to find you in this huge list, so I tracked your CJ.
Keep it up, your creation is awesome.
This is the longest line I ever wrote in english, sorry if is not correct. I'm a French Canadian!

    Hello to All

@jacqulina: Thanks for the compliment! Wow, I guess not much members can say they are Simtropolis Geek ... 10.gif and the beachs, well, I just love Suico's Copa Cabana ... 36.gif

@PhilsCafe: They are amazing, aren't they? And they are about one year on the STEX or so. I love them but the funny thing is I cannot remember seeing them in another CJ by now. BTW: They have a nice gimmick on new years eve!

@dhoppeii: Welcome back my friend! Yes, I like these beaches too. About the Pic 10.10, I should look around and find their target .. 38.gif I am curious ...!!!11.gif

@Pinchman: Ton anglais est meilleur que mon francais, mon ami! A cause de mon profession et mon epouse je ne peux que faire les update une fois dans la semain, pr

    Hey Nardo.

Glad to be back, and to see new developments in Urland. 21.gif

I really like the way you placed the ferry terminal in pic 8.3 with that little descending street, and near the train station. 44.gif

Also like the porkissimo boulevard with the mayor statue at the end, and the market nearby, makes for a nice little plaza, nice touch! 3.gif

Pic 9.1 I love that farm in the center of the pic. You really have the talent to chose the right spot so your farms really take advantage of the slope available, and this one is particularly stunning! 29.gif

That little industrial sector in 9.5 is so real looking!

Where did you get that car ferry in pic 10.1? 42.gif

    10.3 wow, VERY nice beach!

Loved the night shots, especially 10.8

That's it for now, can't wait to see more!

    Take care!

Nice updates sofar Nardo; i suppose the chickenfarm is a teaser? It can be really funny how you get loads of comments out of nothing sometimes... I experienced it myself lately. It's just a bit luck I guess, lots of people are curious about updates, but if your cj isn't on page 1, I guess they assume you haven't updated..
If you ARE on the first page, and a few people comment, it can cause a domino effect so to speak, resulting in an awesome number of posts
Whatever... you're doing a great job, whether you get little comments or many, so I suggest you keep going on!!44.gif44.gif

@All: Someone must have called agent Mulder for the mystery of the heavy traffic in late night on pic 10.10, and see what he found:
    quote>

LOL, that must have been me 19.gif. I can't stand mysteries in a CJ. Look at this (check out 'City Tour: Three Mills Part I'), it will explain some things 2.gif.

    Like the chicken farm...

Thanks you for all your posts! You really saved my day!

I am not able to answer you like I normally do. My wife was pregnant but we lost our (first) child ... I got this information right after I made my last post ...

I don't know if I am able to do my weekly update for the next time(s) but I promise you I will not let die this CJ!

But before I start to answer the posts and comments I want to say

    PhilsCafe

    Darmok

    dhoppeii

    Pinchman

    Kwakelaar

for their kind words. I really appreciate them, they helped me keeping my head out of the water within these days!

@Traffic_Jam: Thanks for your loyal support! BTW: I love your sig!!! 36.gif44.gif

@utora: I guess you are right with the posts and views... though I must say after the last update the number of posts AND views was extremely high ...
About the pic, well, no teaser just an idea that crossed my mind some time after I posted the last update ... but it was worth posting it, wasn't it? 9.gif

@PhilsCafe: Well, I guess Mulder was that much busy in Ploce that he hasn't found the third mill yet, did he?? 17.gif

@Glenni: Even though it took two posts I think the gag was okay!!! 2.gif

@aleking: Thanks for the compliment although the next update will be a bit more urban - the rural areas will follow next time!

@kb: WOW! Thanks for all that Great Heinz! Hope this update will be worth it, too!!

@Defecto: Isn't it stunny how some open space makes a difference? I learned this in Digby. BTW there is still a lot to do in Hochstadt so I guess we will come back there somewhere later again ...

    And now, here is

    Pic 11.0
An overview. As you can see there is a lot of free space. I quited a lot of times without saving since I didn't liked the developement. I am extremely critical with this town ... 22.gif
