Cool, here is page 4

Nice Jambi. I like your gulf course. Wonder how much it would cost to play there. 44.gif

From the Cramps song "Drug Train". I think anyway.

SgtJoeDes: I think it's probably cheap back in 1950. Today? Who knows?

    Thanks both of you!

I hardly ever post, just lurk. So it takes something spectacular to get me out of my cave.

This is one of the best looking CJs I have read. You have skills as a graphic artist. I can barely manage to resize anything in photoshop. I'm from Michigan and love all the familiar names. Bonne Isle has a great 'up north' feel to it.

BTW did you plop most of this or let it come about naturally?

Another lurker popping in with the praise! Your design work with the project is exceptional! It and the little back story really makes it stand out compared to all the other CJs I've read here. You must work in design, or at least study it? Your to good to not be.

Check out the link in his sig, methinks he is an illustrator/graphic designer.

Makes me think I got into the wrong line of work.

Haha, yeah, but I've know plenty of talented artists who end up working in completely different fields.

I've often wondered if other states have "Up North" the way we do. "Up North" of course meaning anyplace in the state of Michigan that you escape from the city to go to the cottage, even if it's west instead of north. As long as there's some kind of rural feel to the place.

I plopped some stuff, but most grew naturally. Occasionally a building I didn't like popped up and I had to knock it down until something more appropriate grew.

And thanks for the compliments. I am a graphic artist and illustrator professionally. I just had some fun putting this together in my spare time. I feel quite guilty for it too instead of working on more pressing projects.

The Chondo Man, Smarty, The Big Z, Suplado: Thanks again, as always!

Speaking of that rail bridge, I sometimes forget to look in close at some of the models and the detail in them. Someone worked hard on that bridge. I thought it would be nice just to zoom in on it and show some of that detail.

Hey, thanks! That means a lot. I like how you do all the creeks scattered around the region. Something I'm going to have to try and do more often now. Looks really good.

The campground looks nice and realistic. I like your use of PEG's mountain theme puzzle pieces as well as the other custom content you used.

Thanks. I probably spent an afternoon on it. I built the entire island and put in the streams and trees and everything before one inch of road was laid. That way all of the building would have to conform to the land and not the other way around.

I think the PEG mountain theme stuff is great. I wanted to use their mountain theme courthouse for the Preserve's lodge, but you have to have a certain population number so it wasn't plopable. Booo!
