I saw this list at a friend of mine. It was the same as the yimby-rate and radius of landmarks, but this one had all the parks, beach, playgrounds, etc, with yimby-rate for commercial or recidental zones. Anyone know where this list is, 'cause I cant find it. BTW he had printed out the pages a couple of years ago, so he doesnt have any adress.....

That means it has a positive effect on properties near it - "YES" we want it on our backyard.  It is the opposite of NIMBY (NOT in my back yard) a term coined as shorthand for local political/popular opposition to development in or near residential neighborhoods.

NIMBY (Not in my back yard) refers to things that residents don't want close to their homes; originally just a word without a proper part of speech used to express the concept, it now doubles as an adjective/adverb, and can be modified as so (they can be "more NIMBY" about 'A' than 'B', meaning they dislike 'A' even more than 'B'). YIMBY was invented as an opposite, meaning things that residents like close to their homes (or like to move in close to). NIMBY things will cause some people to move away, and will make those who remain unhappy, while YIMBY things will encourage people to move in, and increase happiness to those who already live there.
