Thank you. Living near Mediterranean sea, it’s sure that it’s the style I love to do !

Thank you, glad you appreciate Rivieras ! And I changed my water mod, the new one is more realistic.

Thanks for your comment ! First the gardens were planned to be small… but curiously they became much bigger. It took me a lot of hours, and I was glad that it was finished !

Thank you, it’s by pure chance if I realised this island, I saw it on a picture and it was so beautiful that I decided to do my next update with Isola Bella.

Thanks for your support, it makes me really happy.

I’ll not give up my CJ, but I need to have a break. I’ve many « work » to do with several regions, and particularly my city of Paris who’s abandoned since several months, the fields of Etretat....

I’ll come back certainly soon with new pictures of Rivieras.

     Bye and see you soon.

This is utterly amazing. Perfectly planned and hand built. Water adds a wonderous touch as well as the parks and building architecture. I'm simply amazed.

    I'm the 'A' to the 'r', to the c-h-e-a-n,
and even though my name means 'old' I'm really quite pimp,
    I'm Archilicious.

Not giving up? That's great. I think this cj really stands out. Your seawalls match the architecture well. It is extremely beautiful and I'm quite amazed with what you have achieved. I look forward to your return!

Thanks ! Yes I’ll be back soon with new pictures, I’m currently working on different regions but I work too with Rivieras. I’ll don’t give up my CJ because I like too doing it. The cities as usual will be different each time.

Thank you ! yes, these terraced gardens were a little bit hard to do, but they also were pleasant to do !

If you wonder why some people don't comment - perhaps they are speechless! Not just from the beauty of your journals but also because you have put so much time and effort into them. I myself am deeply moved by the care you take with your creations and most of all I am jealous of the Sims that get to inhabit your cities.

Maybe too I am jealous of you, because you get to visit these lovely places whenever you please and I could never even begin to create such an enchanting dreamscape. Please don't deprive us mortal souls of your celestial visions; some of us are silent from awe.

    It's my twentieth update ! 39.gif

    Hi everybody !

No, my CJ Alba Serena has not disappeared. A after some weeks of silence, and a little problem with my computer, here it is again!

During that time, a new city is born in Rivieras. Its name is La Roccada

The old part of the city was built at the top of a mountain overlooking the sea, to watch the invaders. It’s surrounded by fortifications. Partially destructed by fire last century, it was rebuilt and the walls were restored. This site is very attractive for tourists, particularly the royal palace, built by Manuel 1st, an adventurer coming from Mexico, who established monarchy in the country. His real name was Manuel-Juan-Sanchez-Alejandro Ramirez Y Garcia. Nowadays, the palace is a museum dedicated to the history of the region, and also an art gallery of unique antiques.

Now, let’s have a little flight above the old part of the city.

The visit begins with the royal palace, and its “piazza” with the famous twins fountains.

    aslr020.jpg

Here is the private garden of the palace. King Manuel hated gardens and he never came here.

    aslr023.jpg

The historic part of La Roccada with the fortifications

    aslr024.jpg

    aslr025.jpg

The cliffs of La Roccada are very high and impressive.

    aslr030.jpg

    aslr026.jpg

    aslr029.jpg

    aslr039.jpg

Down the mountain is the “new city”, with marinas, gardens, and all who is necessary for entertainment : casinos, night clubs, films festivals, magic shows...

Two teasers of the next update, coming soon.

    aslr027.jpg

    aslr028.jpg

Thank you for your visit, I hope you enjoyed it !

I am so glad to see you back at last! What a great town you have - it looks so warm and inviting. A very harmonious blending of buildings and surroundings to make a first class city. I can't wait to see more from you.

    And, happy 20th for Twenty20!
