Callbat - Thanks mate, glad you like them - spring at it's best. Thank you for the kind wish, Wales was alright, walking around the Brecon Beacon mountains. It was quite frightening lying in a tent in a snow/hail blizzard with thunder and lightning though!

Evil Weasel - Hey there, thanks, glad to hear they have a British feel to them.

The Big Z - Thanks mate, glad you like the pics.

Shingure - Hi there, thanks very much, nice to hear from you again. Have you had any more luck with the PED Mall tiles?

connorc24 - Hi again my friend, glad you like the river, it's an easier separation from the city centre to the suburbs lol.

ky72x - Thanks very much my friend, glad you like Bentley. You think? It's surprising that the Maxis o fit in so well with the custom content, and with some greenery, I was actually quite pleased with the outcome too hehe.

NMUSpidey - Hi there, I can in fact tell you that this is your third visit lol. Thanks for the comment, hope to hear from you again my friend.

edmonton_stinks - Hi my friend, you are right in thinking that. The cheapest villa is £500,000 so quite upmarket. The smaller houses are between £300,000 and £500,000. Land value is quite high.

suplado! - Welcome back mate. Thanks very much, nice to hear you like the marinas, if any houses with marinas become vacant in the near future you could buy one of them.

s_olah - Hi there. Glad you like the water, it is this modd: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=11836. Hope you like this modd.

algis242 - Thanks mate, plenty more to come.

Simtastico - Hi there, I wouldn't be surprised if they do, this is the newest mall in the whole country.

Benedict - Thanks my friend, glad you like.

Not a big update today I'm afraid as I got back from Wales today so just a teaser. A woodcutter's trailer was spotted abandoned in Pocleston-on-Sea High Street earlier this morning by a man walking his dog. Notices have been put up for someone to claim it  and it was towed away to the Autofit Garage before rush hour.

great stuff, man! i like the angle of the teaser shot. but that bus stop kinda clashes with the sandstone sidewalks; perhaps a quick trip to the Lot Editor could fix that? still, you have me hooked!

that bus stop ruined the pic a bit, because it's sidewalk doesn't fit.

/me wants to see it fixed someday ^^

    keep up the good work

Very good update, I especially like the charming settings and layouts of the different neighborhoods and the attention to detail. The close-ups look really cool and so does the warehouse- area.

    Looking very forward to more,

Excellent as usual, the buildings are so different yet when you put them together it just seems natural. That's quality right there!

Wales eh? Must've been fun 9.gif

Dsrwhat316 - Hey there my friend, glad you like the pic. As for the bus stop, thanks for pointing that out as I entirely agree. A little use of the PED Mall tiles will sort that one out, just like how I've made those sidewalks.

algis242 - Oh well, thanks anyway. It's been sorted out so I'll post an 'after' pic very soon.

lucky7 - Hi and welcome to Alfington. Thanks very much, glad you like the shots and layout, hope to hear from you again soon my friend.

s_olah - Thanks mate, well I'm sure next winter will certainly deliver some more snow depending on the weather running up to it. I have to say though that the snow in March was much heavier than what Alfington would usually get.

Benedict - Hi there. Thanks very much, I'll try my best to get a macho update here soon.

Callbat - Thank you very much my friend, obviously some buildings just don't fit but Maxis has a nice selection of buildings to choose from that go quite well with some of the custom content. Wales was fun, thanks, I even managed to get a video of thunder-snow hehe!

jacqulina - Thanks very much for the support my friend!

Twenty20 - Hi and welcome to Alfington. Hehe, I've got an overall European feel going then heh? Glad you like.

Apart from the fact that I've been at school a lot this week despite it being the Easter break, SC4 is also playing up on my computer with crashes shortly after starting playing the game and now it doesn't even open fully. I click on a city tile and it crashes before even opening. Therefore, I've had to take SC4 off the computer, keeping the Plugins folder and backing up my computer just in case it's another one of those crappy little computer bugs and will install it again later today to get some pics. Sorry for the long waits and petit updates and thank you for your patience.

I have however a few pictures of the 09:05 West Coast Train Service from Alfington to Pocleston-on-Sea as it arrived this lovely Thursday morning.

    Hope you like these.

Being the 10th April, the Picture Request has now begun which means I can gather pictures of certain things to do with Alfington or places within or around the city. When replying, if there is any part of the city or surroundings you would like to see, please say as I can base the updates from now to the 20th around that!

Oh wow, splendid suburbs. And I'm glad you've put some rails on there 9.gif

In my opinion there isn't one building at all that stands out though, all of them flow. Well anyway, best of luck with whatever you may be working on right now mate. I'll sit tight and wait for your next update whenever RL allows.

As for the picture requests, you know how much I enjoy your countryside!2.gif

Hopefully Sim City is working for you again! I'd hate for this CJ to be cut short.

As for this update, it's great! However, I would suggest that you have some sort of wall, barrier, or at least a one-tile space between the houses and railroad. Right now, it doesn't look safe at all! Plus, whenever a train passes by, just imagine how loud it must be for those people in the nearby homes. But the commercial developments look alright. Keep it up, Mike!

Callbat - Thanks very much my friend, I know you like the British lots so much. As is the case with many British cities, railways to have a tendancy to go through suburbs lol. Thanks for your support and I will certainly try and get some good countryside shots to show!

gabry85 - Thanks mate, glad you like them.

ky72x - Hi there my friend. Well, it certainly is right just yet but this cj is definitely staying put as much as me and you can keep it in one pice until I get the darned game sorted out. Thanks for the support and advice, I was thinking about putting a barrier there but then I realised it would all get mucked up with the placement of the suburban station. I know what you mean though. My friend has a house right next to the route into Temple Meads, Bristol and the high speed trains can make the floors vibrate! Hope to hear from you again soon.

On request from Callbat, I have here a collection of countryside shots I never knew I had taken hehe. Hope you enjoy them, they were taken in the autumn last year before the severe weather set in!

Hope you have all enjoyed this update until next time. SC4 is still not working properly despite all my attempts at sorting it so I'm really clinging on to what I have got. All comments and/or criticisms are welcome and appreciated as well as requests and I'll try to get some more shots from the game as soon as I get it working fine again. Take care.

The farms look absolutely splendid! Nice use of the trees to separate the great assortment of farms from each other. I also liked the numerous roundabouts in the area as well as the street bridge. Lastly, that's one cool mosaic to cap off this update!
