Problems using SC4 Terraformer

SC4 Terraformer is a wonderful and useful program, but I seem to have a problem with it saving regions in a different format from SC4 itself.  In order to use the cities, I have to open them and resave each one individually (which of course essentially defeats a main purpose of Terraformer).  SC4 doesn't seem to recognize terrain generated by Terraformer either; when I tried to reconcile the city in the lower left of my image, it registered the right border as on water, even though it is clearly a land border.  Has anyone else had similar problems and can relate to this problem?

The opening and saving each city is normal. As for your 2nd problem I am not sure but maybe someone else can fill in the details.

Yes, the opening and saving each city is normal. It's the way Terraformer works. It's still usually faster than waiting for the game to render a region. Also, before reconciling a city, the surrounding cities need to be opened and saved. Otherwise, you'll get the results you did (at least that's been my experience). Hope this helps.

Yeah. CaptCity's right.  Just open and save all the cities in your region...don't worry about reconciling the edges or doing touch up work (like adding trees or eroding the land) until you've got that done.
