vilbe you shouldn't feel bad losig to them period they were the second best team in the league this season the only reason they got the 4th seed is that they were in the same division as Rorysville(#1 seed in the League) but yeah a River City Sweep would be something considering that the Frostbite and Otters were only around 4 points apart from each other in the standings.

Busy Day up ahead as Both Series play tonight and River City will have the chance at the sweep on home Ice,in the Other Series Marshall can take a stranglehold on the Series with a win and if Earlton wins then we're back at square one tied at 2 going back to Earlton

State of the League Address

Welcome Hockey fans to the STHL Gretzky Cup Finals. Today I bring you the state of the STHL. In the past season we have seen our league grow in leaps and bounds,From just scores to Fully broadcast games,From just fantasy Jersey thoughts to actuall Uniforms in game.Membership is strong and I look forward to our New Clubs that will be entering the new Season.This year we also saw a jump in Play as some of the most exciting action in League history has happend.The Playoffs saw an exciting race to make the playoffs with National cty making an Increadable run just to get to the playoffs.Marshall shocked all and won their division then made a briliant run all the way to Game 7 of the Bobby Orr Conference Finals.Earlton Lead the League and set a record for most trades(insert canned laughter here) and will face the Leagues best team in Rorysville,a new Rorysville team to add to the history that is the STHL's premiere franchise.The Don Cherry Confernce Playoffs whitnessed some amazing play from Medaille's suprising upset of Nyhaven to Rorysville's Historic Comeback to win the Don Cherry Conference over bitter Rival River City.Now we look to the future of the league with this season almost wrapping up the plans for next season are being set into motion.Next season will be the longest in STHL history,Rosters will be different,Teams will be even more balanced and matched.

82 Games(October-April)

4 rounds of Best of 7 to win the Gretzky Cup(8 Teams Per Confernce Qualify for Playoffs)(April-June)

30 Teams(6 Divisions based on a more Geographic Scale-So some teams may be moving Conferences/Divisions)

Preseason Tournament to balance the rosters and get a feel for what you want)

2 UFA Roster signing Periods per month

Bid system to sign new players(100 points per Quarterseason)

Trade Deadline

28 Total Players Limit

20 Players to start the Pre-Season UFA Period(Late August Early September)

Roster Limit Exemptions for Players on IR

Membership

All 30 Current Teams will be allowed to retain their current clubs

All teams that do not intend to retain a club will be put up for sale(list is already starting of teams waiting to get in)

New Teams will gain a franchise as is and have to build it to what they want

Sensman's Pawtucket,And RyanBsc4's Medaille Mavericks will be Retained for Legacy as they put so much time into this league in the early days

Current Member Teams have till July 20th To announce intentions of Membership in the STHL(I will contact everyone so no worries)

New Members have from August 1rst- August 20th/League Filled to sign up (first come first serve basis)
