In Milwaukee where I grew up, the elevated highways downtown have parking lots underneath them. I think it'd be cool if you could make some UHW lots that have parking lots!

    @ nofunk: i like your ideia.. but making a parking look cover may be some how hard, because the elevated trafic networks have diferent suports.. anyway, i'll look into it.. is a good ideia =) and i need ideias for the urban version ^^

    meanwhile:

    other piece ready:

    you can see is prop area in red, and his (and others) ploping lots with blue cross. =)

    Oh I see....overhanging textures 4.gif For a minute I thought these were subterranean highways.

    I love this idea, going to download the UHP work now. I HATE this default grass nonsense under my elevated transit networks. Perhaps you would consider a concrete version for use under networks in downtown areas?

    This is an excellent idea! Concrete tiles would be great, and parking lots should only be eye-candy to avoid path- conflicts. Maybe you can also do a grass tile with a few small bushes and some trash on it, as the areas under highways are not always super-clean.. That'd be great!!! Looking very much forward to more,

    ty all for the comments

    concrete versions will be made, they are in Beta right now, because i'm still tring to find the better parkin patter, wich will go good with almost networks suports..

    about some issues, i found 2:

    1- the first realese can't be used in slopes, something that as being change for the 2nd release;

    2- this file is not compatible with the "matching grass mod" because it changes the grass textures of lots, but not the overhanging textures..

    well, i've being playing with the parks and i get to this so far.. the textures are made on paint, not the final ones, just want you to tell how good it looks this way.. i used several networks as also ploped a single lot to see how it is alone.

    This is really cool. It would definitely improve the realism of people's cities. I will gladly help you with this project if you want! 9.gif

    for the parking lots -what about end pieces. I'm surprised the NAM team hasn't done this for all the networks like they did for the EL rail facelift mod. are they working on something like this too.

    yeah it uses the wealth levels of the areas around it. kinda like sidewalks for roads and streets and avenues. Yours will be good for making parkish highways. the facelift mod doesn't change its texture near a landmark or park. only zoned areas. each has its own use.

    Nice work!

    I really like the idea.

    This little detail will help to add some optical realism and variety to the maxis highway.
