Alright, so here's the scoop. I am a long time player of simcity games, but this is my first attempt at a regional CITY here on Simcity 4. My Simcity 4 includes the Rush hour expansion, NAM, cul-de-sac mods, and the Building plop mod (though I haven't used it yet, I'll use it later during city-wide "development projects"). No cheats used, live monetary data.

I started out the game loosely using the regional map for Oshkosh Wisconin. The city is fictional, and the region has been untouched by man. I've modified the shorelines slightly, and the regional map will look a little rough (because of the download). When I bounce into each city, I'll smooth it out 4.gif. All the critiques I can get would be great. I'm trying to keep my town as realistic as possible without modding the game too much. (Still learning how to do all that!)

It was a calm day in the upper part of the midwest. The skies were calm and blue as

four SUV's blazed a trail across the vast open land of Wisconsin.

It was time for building. The sims had the task of creating a city that would raise up

and be a powerhouse of commercial and supreme residential living on the planet.

The men involved with the creation had the vision of a sprawling town that limited pollution,

praised commercial growth, and gave mass transportation a new meaning.

The founders decided to emphasis from day one the beautiful Lake Michigan shore. Lakeshore Drive was created, a 10 mile road that winded around the lower lake and would be one of the central corridors for the entire region.

As the first eight years passed, the town flourished. 5,000 sims decided to come live in Century City, and commercial shops and residential areas grew. The primary demand for farms and ag industry became massive, pushing the farms farther and farther away.

However, the city wasn't growing fast enough for some impatient sims. They wanted some limited manufacturing area to

promote eventual high-tech industry to come to the region. the debate was on.

Hmm... looks interesting. Nice storyline so far.

You may want the pictures to go downward instead of across, just a thought.
