     Update- High Barnet.

Ok, here it is, English suburbia in all of its sprawling glory.

(sorry! no street names, had problems with the GIMP)

High Barnet tube station, a terminus on the northern line,

    the road is Barnet Hill:

    London2-May-8.jpg

Barnet High street meets with Barnet Hill from the south, Hadley green and St. Albans road from the north, and Wood Street from the west(not seen).

    London2-May-3.jpg

St. Georges Field..or um..im not sure...there were quite a lot of fields 9.gif

    London2-May.jpg

Ahh.no wait...St. Georges field was north of these homes:

    London2-May-6.jpg

Just some of the endless streets:

    London meets Hertfordshire:

    London2-May-4.jpg

And to close it up...heres a shoot from up high:

I forgot to lay some streets..nothing big though 9.gif

     THANKS FOR READING...MERRY CHRISTMAS

      Also dont forget to comment!

You capture English suburbia very well, you've done a brilliant job at laying out the streets and houses.

Wow, great suburban shots. I love those Gascooker buildings.

As for the signature pic, I may have been a little harsh with my judgment. I would suggest using a shot that you've made yourself; that looks like real life British suburbia, correct? High Barnet would be great for that, because it's basically the same thing, only...Simcityized.

The High Barnet update looks excellent.  I especially like the way that you have used trees and open space - not only is it realistic, but by following patterns of real-world building you have broken from the layout patterns we all tend to fall into when building a fictional place in SC4.

In particular I like the way the last pic shows that the forest was there first and the roads and housing feel like they are intruding.

Excellent CJ! I can't wait to see the development of the elevated road surrounding area. Did you use no maxis buildings for your city? And I think that the gas cylinder asked by by mayor of the manor is available in one pack of industrial stuff for harbours. Also is a maxis industrial growable.
