The 2 lane flyover is empty here, but as soon as I stitched all this together traffic started to use it again. Ah well, traffic patterns change all the time in this game

Inspired by recent projects in city where I live, I create elevated express highway system. The city is still empty, buildings on construction. Just imagine toll highways (collector and express), normal rail, LRT (el-rail), and soon power cables, water pipes, gas pipes run on EXACTLY the same path!

Long time not seeing a well executed maxis highway, great work there! Also, I miss those neat retaining walls

Simple but quite effective and elegant. Good work.

Ooohhh...a GIF. For the record we see far too few of these sort of pictures. I'd appreciate more from the community (not that I'm leading my example here, but still).

Yes, that's definitely not a diamond, though as you imply the addition of Michigan lefts could make it functionally equivalent to one.

Connector highways are severely underutilized in the SC4 roadgeek community in my view - they are supremely useful both in real life and in-game and have their own kind of beauty. I might consider bulking up the numbers of these sort of roads in my new projects *.

I don't think one exists for Canadian speed signs without a grass texture.

These were the only ones I could find, but that was years ago now.  Starting a new region, Ill search again.

Not bad. Turnarounds are quite convenient in real life in my experience, so I usually place lots of them on my highways (freeways are a different kettle of fish). Of course the fact that I only allow Michigan lefts on my highways might also be a factor *. This is all part of my longstanding "reduce conflict points of the traffic" initiative. For the same reason there's a de facto moratorium on traffic lights, instead roundabouts being favored for major intersections. The poor drivers would probably freeze in shock if plopped in North America, with all the traffic lights and direct left turns on divided highways, but I digress.
