Was just playing some random music on iTunes.  Down the bottom it had 'Recently Released Soundtracks:  SimCity Socities".

Now, I like the game ... but downloading the music?????

EDIT:  Tbh, the music is actually quite good and does help to set the 'theme' of the city.  It's fun hearing the authoritarian march or the romantic waltz....

I remember hearing a SC4 soundtrack on CourtTV... You never know what "producers" think what works, or doesn't. I would definitely be interested....

I don't see the point to this... The music is on your computer if you got the game installed.

"...\Data\Audio\Music"

Boom, you got it. Granted, it's in .ogg format, but there's plug-ins to allow windows media player to play it, along with other media players.

Oh, and yeah, loved the authoritarian music. Not a fan of much else though. Cyberpunk wasn't bad in my opinion though.

In SC4 you could just take the music and put it on I tunes no problem. Now I have all the music plus Star Wars, age of Empires 2 and 3 and others.

P.S: On Age of Empires 3, does anyone know why the theme is called Noddinagushpa?

You'd be suprised. I've seen the DragonballZ soundtrack on itunes, so it's not that suprising to me.

Speaking of getting SC4 OST on itunes, I actually have the SC4 soundtrack on my ipod lol 3.gif

Actually it would be a nice mod to get some of the SC4 music into SCS... although I think it would just have to be the generic city music as opposed to small town/haunted/cyberpunk/authoritarian etc.

Would also be fun to bring in some extra music for those themes as they only really have one piece each....
