I'm sure some of you are thinking, "Oh no, not another CJ from Z!"  I can understand.  I really wanted to keep up with Antiquus, but I was having a problem getting it to start running itself.  In that most of the buildings I had were plopped, and the only ones I could get to grow were 'modern' type buildings.

Anyway, I'm not going to start another "CJ" per se.  I am, however, going to post snapshots from the region that I am currently working with.  I'll warn  you now, I probably won't be updating this everyday.  It will be more like once or twice a week, as life is picking up, and I'm getting ready to start university.

Details on this region:

Name:  Garland Bay (On STEX, it is New Pungo from mkaustin )

Mods:  Too many to count. hehe.  Columbus Terrain Mod with PEG's Windjammer water mod and gray-granite rock mod.

I've been putting the new ploppable water from jeronij available at BSC Exchange

nice, the river looks very smooth and natural, better than anything you could do with the terrain tool

suplado! ~ Thanks for the compliment.  I think the plop water is very useful.  I am hoping on adding another river in the region, since the landscape appears to have to rivers that were evident from the layout/elevation of the region.

2nerdy4u ~ Thanks.  I like it green, too.  Although I do think that some of the CJ's here that use different terrain mods are seriously awesome.

bbfan02 ~ I hope it doesn't disappoint you when I do post some pictures of the river close up.  Thanks for the comment.

Schulmanator ~ Thanks man.  I went on a weird hiatus for awhile.  Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with this "CJ" this time.

hamserTK ~ Thanks!  That's a very nice compliment.  I was hoping the river looked natural.  I was having a hard time deciding if it did.

penguin007 ~ Thanks.  I hope you keep stopping by!

Jacky ~ Thanks much, deary.  I'm sure I'll be using a lot of the plop water throughout this region. hehe

    Update.jpg

Well, here are some pictures that I took today while I was messing around in Garland, and in photoshop. hehe

    I call this Garland Pond

    Garlandpond.jpg

This is Old Downtown Garland Foggy and Sunny Versions

    OldDowntownGsunny.jpg

Since I don't believe it slamming more than a few pics into one post, I'll leave it at this for now.  Hopefully, I can get River #2 done.  I still haven't named the first one.  What do you think are some interesting names for this river?

Nice little update. Photoshopping is fun. The fog picture is very artistic. Name for the river, huh? Uhhh... how about "Olympus River" for a good name? I was thinking Garland and that made me think about Rome, which made me think about Greece, which then made me think about Mount Olympus...

Mike the Mayor ~ Yeah, I'm really lovin' the ploppable water.  I only hope that when I start 'perfecting' the larger river, that it won't look bad.

2nerdy4u ~ Olympus River, huh?  That sounds cool.  I understand what you mean.  I love how thoughts move from one subject to a completely, and often unrelated, subject.  I know!  We can call it the River Styx, since that was a Greek river.  That the river that Achilles' mom dipped him in.  All but his ankle that is. 2.gif  And we'll call one of the Mountains Olympus!  Sweet!

Skram ~ Thanks.  I'm glad you like it.

mkaustin ~ Drop by anytime.  Hopefully you keep liking what you see.

garby85 ~ Thanks.  I hope you like the next update.

suplado! ~ Thanks.  Its called plastic wrap in photoshop.  I like it a lot.  I'm still working on how to do that rain effect, though.  So far, I haven't figured it out.

bbfan02 ~ Thanks.  I'm still a novice.  I only really tinker with photoshop.  Although I think I might take a photoshop class next semester.

nottheboss ~ Thank you.  I hope you stop by again.

penguin007 ~ I'm sure I'll have some more before too long.  I'm heading to a Boys Like Girls Concert tonight.

jayo ~ I was wondering if someone would notice that!  lol  I downloaded them awhile ago, and forgot what they were for.  I plopped like two or so in my small town, then was looking at a CJ, and noticed they were for the railroad.  So, I downloaded some street signs for it now. hehe

Smarty218 ~ Thank you much.  I hope you continue to stop by, and enjoy.

Jacky ~ Thank you very much.  I only hope I could down the waterfalls and such like you do.

Nice name choices. I love it when my brain goes on a crazy train of thought that actually proves useful... I'll be looking forward to another update.

    Update.jpg

I call this small neighborhood Roseland Gardens

    RoselandGardens.jpg

There is a rather strong inclination of the people of Garland toward Sports, especially soccer and baseball.  There are several Little League Fields around the small town.

    LittleLeague.jpg

Not to mention the larger baseball arena.  It is where the town competitions are held.  Roseland does have their own minor league team, the Garland Gladiators.

    MinorLeagueBaseball.jpg

And since with a small baseball stadium comes lots of people to watch, there was a small underground parking lot made for spectators, while the baseball players, family and owners park in the stadium parking.

    NewParking.jpg

Well, I hope you enjoyed that small update!
