Yeah, I managed to beat Mile High Club on Vet after my millionth shot... you honestly just need to tactically use flash bangs and have really good aim.

i absolutely loved the games, it was so realistic!

i was also stunned about the scene when the Nuke goes of, when the USMC guy dies (you play till his death). it shocked me. also the final scenes of Act 3 was also shocking, the part you kill the imran.... the tanker explodes, you fall, a mate comes to get you and gets killed and on.... then imran comes, the sarge thrwos his weapon you kill his guys and then you look to your left and you see Kamarov guys trying to get him alive again. man it was shocking.... but a great experience.

I've never seen a FPS so realistic and cinematic. The nuke and death scene were terribly creepy. The first mission with the sinking ship...wow! The final scenes on the bridge...I read this topic long ago and am glad I finally bought it, and I agree with all of you that it's one of the best ever

I played the first Call of Duty way back in the day and it felt like an absolute rollercoaster! There are a couple of FPS's that I'm thinking of getting, perhaps either this one, World of Conflict, Crysis, Gears of War, or Bioshock. I need a good rollercoaster ride and feel my pulse again! 9.gif

Call of Duty 1 was fantastic... the charge at Stalingrad has got to be the best gaming level in the history of man 9.gif

Yeah, I have to agree. I've noticed that the enemies just respawn if your squadmates kill the enemy npc's, so you have to acctually fight your way through ALL enemies making it more of a 'One Man Army' game than a squad based shooter.

Still, thats the experiance of the game, without the massive fights and body counts it just wouldn't be as epic.

Well, I still got some money left from my christmas shopping, from what I've read, the game is worth buying, my only concern:

My comp is a couple years old, and Its got quite a lot of crap on it, will COD4 kill my comp?

I've got like 700 something RAM, a pentium 4 processer, I forgot what my last video/graphic card I installed was.

But I don't want to have to play it all the way on low graphics either, I only settle for medium or higher....

should I buy it? My comp couldn't even handle BF2.....haha

Yeah, it will certainly kill your PC... I have

1.86 Dual Core

Gforce 7650

1.5GB Ram

Pretty average specs and it still makes my computer crawl at points, even on lowish graphics...
