Wonderful mosaic. It's very diverse in terms of what it's displaying: water, ancient ruins, trains, city blocks, trees, a modern high-rise, and government buildings.

I agree with Dan (Dsrwhat316) about the large areas of green grass. I think they would look much better with trees placed all over the grass, with a few fountains or statues placed here and there. Also, those parking lots between the top and middle of the mosaic would look better if the side that is transit enabled connected to the road (or at least facing towards it). But everything else looks really good! I'm looking forward to see much more from you, Luke!

Excellent amazing work once again! The modern glass towers fit in perfectly with the older Parisian style buildings. And that palace at the bottom is stunning as well 9.gif

    Republique du Tient

    TopBanner.gif

    Nantes, Republique du Tient

Something not seen in Nantes on this scale, the new huge demand for high-rises in and around the city. And in no place is it anymore apparent than in the Le centre de Commerce et de Mode Sector of Nantes. With almost 9 planned or already built skyscrapers, this area is becoming the most densely populated and richest part of the city. With block after block being torn down, residents are scrambling to create Bill d'Histoire which can keep there blocks from being torn down. In the fashion news a new D&G, Prada, Muschovi, and Jean Paul Gaultier have moved into the area to compliment the area's already high up-scale shops. And with fashion week just around the corner, preparations are being made in not only Mode Park, but also many of the Cathedrals and buildings big enough to hold a fashion show, while the designers themselves put the final touches on there works.

Very nice! This is very realistic for a European city in this era, which are all undergoing new projects and such. I want to see this unfold!

Great mosaic. I love the trees and the bridge with the rocks. The rail is fantastic, especially at night. Nice busy construction as well.

Another great mosaic. Great depiction of the building preservation thing, as it's a problem in many major cities. However, the right mix of buildings creates a beautiful contrast.

Ahh, a bridge! Now that's what I've been waiting to see! 3.gif

It looks beautiful, just like the whole update. The construction lots look excellent paired with the typical buildings, as well as some different ones, like the hotel. I like how those tree park lots have lights that really make them glow. Very nice. Good use of the curved rail, too. Keep it up!

2nerdy4u- Nantes is the new city that never sleeps, haha thanks for the comment.

Edmonton_Stinks- Yeah, Nantes is trying to become and 21st century city, but many citizens are afraid of what the city will become. So I think this blend is nice, but I don't expect to much more to happen.

Kyle- haha had I know you wanted a bridge so bad, I would gladly of shown you one along time ago. Thanks for your always wonderful comments, its always nice to see what you have to say.
