    Welcome to Page 7

    Replies

I'm a little surprised no-one spotted that i have switch to Euro roads (there was a prize for whoever spotted it first!). Maybe i will try another secret game with a prize for whoever notices 4.gif

    connorc24 - Thanks 4.gif

2nerdy4u - Thanks a lot, i really churned them out yesterday! Thanks a lot, it takes a lot of behind-the-screens (like what i did there?) planning too!

    dralin321 - Yeh, hehe!

Mulefisk - Thanks a lot, hope you will be sticking around from now on 4.gif

jacqulina - Thanks a lot jacky, glad to see you are still making comments 4.gif im sorry i forgot to add you to my signature until now

    Update

This one shows a small amount of suburban expanse to the side of the city centre, and also shows a high-tech park built around one of the sister hills,

There were 2 hills that i thought may be interesting to build around rather than level, and i have named them the 2 sisters. Here is the development around the sisters before the click:

    rockhaven45.jpg

This shot shows the area after the click (still got huge demands for R$$ and R$$$, wish those luxury flats would develop near the centre!):

    rockhaven46.jpg

This shot shows the local library and RockHaven Football Team's Ground (every town is gonna have one) Rockhaven FC is currently 10-6 vs Rudston in the history of their professional games:

    rockhaven47.jpg

Here is a reverse shot of the smaller of the sisters surrounded by high-tech industry:

    rockhaven48.jpg

And a reverse shot of the expansion:

Great update. Great idea to leave those two hills untouched; helps give that feeling of tranquility. Great work.

KingTitan - Thanks again man, hope you like this next one!

2nerdy4u - Thanks, i got the idea when the hills were too steep to level off with roads and i thought "maybe i will just leave them there then" 4.gif

suplado! - Thanks, yeh, i have done a lot of updates recently, just had a bit more spare time than usual!

connorc24 - Thanks, still waiting for the overdue start of your new CJ!

Smarty218 - Thanks, may have to make the city centre bigger if i spread Rockhaven over the whole land.

dralin321 - That's great, i haven't planned it out yet, anything you want to see?

    Update

This is another quite small one to show how it continues to grow

Here is the area before i press the "magic" button:

    rockhaven50.jpg

And here it is after the press:

    rockhaven51.jpg

The expanded industrial area gave the first real communications with the outside world via satellite:

    rockhaven52.jpg

This shot shows  how large Rockhaven could sprawl to be if i grow it all over the island:

I do like this one....Like usual.

I would suggest, however, maybe adding some rocks and stuff to upir rocky cliffs. Ideas?

Nice work. Rockhaven definitely has lots of room to expand. I wonder what you'll do with it.

Hi, and first of all wow, really impressive stuff. Thanks for the suburban tutorial, however I was just wondering whether you used tree lots around the residential zones and if so where I could download them or if you LE'd them yourself?

Awesome updates, such a lovely scenic area you have here - very nice and beautiful. In fact, I wouldn't mind owning a house there at all.

unfortunately, i have decided to discontinue this CJ

however, every cloud has a silver lining as i am terraforming a new region as we speak

i did not like where this CJ was going, as it was becoming very difficult to bring variety to any new towns beyond Rudston and Rockhaven

i should have a new region done in a short while, one with the same building style, but bigger, better cities!

Well, I liked this CJ, and due to the building skill you have displayed here I sure will be following any new projects you come up with. btw thanks to those who replied to the question about trees. I have these trees already, I think they were done by Jeronij(?)but have found that to plop them in the style and variety shown here takes quite a while, so I was wondering if the author of this CJ had made special lots to save time.

Awww. I loved this CJ. Variety? I though you had tons of it. The city center of Rockhaven was very different from Rudston and the different terrains gave the two towns very different feels. Still, I'm looking forward to your next CJ because you are clearly a skilled city-builder.

Hey, that's all right. I'll be staying tuned for your new one. As nerdy said, I can tell you are an excellent city builder so I can't wait to see what you come up with.
