Yeah Za's right, you use diagonal roads quite well. Nice factory by the way.

I also agree with Zach. The trees and the diagonal roads really work well. I also love the colors in your images. There is a good evergreen and navy theme for the nature.

Za - Heh, thanks, maybe you can incorporate my subrban design into your cities, i can give a quick tutorial on one of my updates if you wish

ImFromSweden - I plan to, i have a lot of small islands to fill in with settlements, big and small!

KingTitan - No problem buddy, thanks for stopping by again!

connorc24 - Could be waiting a while for me to get high rises, will have to develop some of the other islands before i get the residential backing for it 4.gif

    Smarty218 - Thanks a lot

jacqulina - Thanks for stopping by jacky, was wondering when i would get a comment from you! 9.gif

2nerdy4u- Thankyou, thats the theme i am aiming for in this CJ so i guess its working out nicely

suplado!- Thanks again buddy! lovin' Jargeah, probably my fave CJ going right now

dralin321 - Yeh, that is a theme of this bunch of comments 4.gif

    Update

Had a bit of high-tech industry demand this time, as well as the usual residential demand.

Thought i'd throw in a quick shot to show me in the process of developing as area:

    rudston45.jpg

Here is that area completed, and i'm thinking at this stage about developing a high tech industry park somewhere

    rudston46.jpg

Here it is after the button press, with the high-tech park developed to the other side of the rail:

    rudston47.jpg

Here's a reverse angle of the area

    rudston48.jpg

Here's a close-up of the industrial park, also showing the suburban rail station in this shot:

    rudston49.jpg

And finally, a picture to show how the suburbs look from a bit closer in:

I will reply to the people who said something about the city, rather than the people who just voted

politicman - Thanks a lot man, can you PM me instructions to your signature game?

Smarty218 - Thanks a lot, and i will eventually do a tutorial on how i make suburbs, make sure your around for that!

2nerdy4u - Thanks a lot, its done for now but i will be returning before long!

    connorc24 - Thanks again man!

suplado! - Thanks for not voting for C 4.gif

Za - Glad i could inspire you to try out new ideas

dralin321 - i have a feeling the updates on C might be a little more spread out as it looks like it will take a lot of work!

Benedict - Thanks a lot man!

De Ja Vu - Agreed, will be tough, but people said that about Rudston, this is just another step up!

jacqulina - i made the region using the SC4Terraformer, a great tool which no sim city player should be without

    Smarty218 - Wait is over!

    Update

I can already tell this area will be tough to develop 4.gif but i hope by the end of it, i will be ready to return to Rudston and make a few high-rises and major ports / airports

Here is the first area of farming i zoned:

    rockhaven2.jpg

On the edge of the biggest island in the tile, i have a small village (very small)

    rockhaven3.jpg

Here are the 2 farms i have zoned, and where the people who work there will live:

    rockhaven4.jpg

The area hosts the "Sober Road" so named due to its high accident rate with drunks:

    rockhaven5.jpg

Further down sober road there is a small petrol station, with what will develop to be a few convenience stores:

    rockhaven6.jpg

The area I have done so far:

    rockhaven7.jpg

Lalginho (I hate you all for voting for C !!  9.gif)
