Lost

Last week, a friend of mine and I were talking about TV shows. He recommended Lost. Apart from Seinfeld a few times per week, I don't watch a lot of TV. But I decided to watch Lost for the heck of it.

Enough backstory, though. I like it a lot! Unless you follow each episode closely, you have to think about things, which piqued my interest.

Now it's over, and I assume reruns will take place eventually. I've only seen the last two episodes, so that might clear some things up.

Do you just exist to ask these questions, EAGCE? (I checked the Desperate Housewives thread to make sure mine wasn't redundant).

Basic Synopsis - A group of about 45 individuals is stranded on a large tropical island after a plane crash. They all have a lot of complications in their life that the crash totally sabotages. They learn to become more open with each other as each individual's story comes out, all the while trying to survive on this island and learn why they are there and how to get off.

My mom was right into it. If you said anything while it was on, she'd go ah until you shut up. she even downloaded a bunch of episodes so she could watch them on the computer over and over again.

I never really got into it. It's running on Radio-Canada now, though. It's called Perdu and sounds a lot funnier in French! The script is slightly altered, too..

I saw a few previews and watched like a few episodes, and wondered what that terrible monster was in the season opening and it as I remember was a polar bear. A polar Bear ! On a tropical island.. Just sounds stupid to me.

It's just getting shown in the UK now, I've seen the first three episodes and I think it's GREAT! It's really interesting and gripping, I can't wait to see the next episodes!

I love this show! There're showing the 11th episode now on Channel 5 (a local free to air TV station) but a cable chanel (AXN) showed 5 episodes every saturday and the series ended last week. I must say though, the ending was a bit dissapointing I guess....but other than that, the storyline was great! I like the way the show portrays each of the survivors life in each episode.

The adverts for it intrigued me but I was abroad when C4 started showing it so missed the first few episodes. I'll probably watch the re runs rather than start half way through. I'm sure it will be a delightfully over the top American drama though, with bland American jokes.

This show seems a little over-the-top and corny to me.

 

I just remember watching one episode towards the beginning where it ended with a bunch of the survivors sitting around a campfire.  They played the most horrible music for the situation, it was hilarious.

Oh, I love that show, really great.

I only actually watched the first couple of episodes so far, but they were really amazing.

 

And, after watching those episodes, I had a dream that night about me and a few of my school friends and MrVege and Muzz and Suga stranded on an island like in the show.

I dont know why, I guess had no time to wach it.

I watched all of season 1 and loved it but it can get very confusing if you don't follow it properly i aslo found some of it to be quite spooky  but i didn't get any odd dreams about it 

I would love to know when season 2 starts in the UK

Oh wow... a thread about Lost. Yeah, I've seen every single episode. Out of all the characters, I like Jack and Loche.
