yeah I just go on the other SC fansites when ST is down - although I don't visit ST as much as I used to anymore so downtime doesn't really affect me - although strangely it only happenbs on days when I want to go onto ST lol

My mom and I had actually planned it all week.

Though, whenever I took a break and Simtropolis wasn't online, I figured I'd just watch Hot Fuzz since I haven't seen it yet.

Actually I spent the whole day, as everyday, doing Real Life parenting.  We did our weekly Saturday outing, this time at the The International Children's Festival at Wolftrap National Park in Vienna, VA.   The kiddoes and I had a fantastic time and I'm glad to know that I haven't popped into a mess that required monitoring while checking into the site tonight.

What seemed odd to me is that the site returned a regular generic 404 page, not a "We'll be back shortly" type page like you usually get when the site goes down.
